Let's Go Washington

On Saturday July 29th, 2023 We had the pleasure of hosting our first Summer Freedom Fest! A crowd of up to 1300 people gathered, mingled, heard live music, enjoyed delicious cuisine from local food truck vendors, visited with neighbors and listened to speeches from local political candidates and leaders. Summer Freedom Fest 2023 was a huge success! and we plan on and look forward to hosting more events in the future. Last year the first effort was exclusively a volunteer effort. This year, there is an effort to hire signature gatherers, which is an expansion of the initiative process by those who want a smaller, less abusive government in Washington State. Interview by Glen Morgan with Brian Heywood founder of Let's Go Washington - dedicated to fixing what is broken in Washington State. In this interview we discussed the Initiative 2081 which is due to be submitted in December this year. Signatures are being gathered for the rest of the year on this one. In addition, we discussed the proposed initiative to fix the police pursuit law (Initiative 2113). A good discussion from the guy trying to fix what is broken in Washington State.
