The Serpents and The Snake Kings of Mesoamerica
The Book of Mormon relates a story about serpents that inhabit the land southward and keep the Jaredites from entering the region. Are these serpents reptiles or are they humans? It is interesting that once Lib destroys the serpents at about 1000 BC, we then begin to see the development of a group called the Snake Kings in the Peten of Guatemala and southern Yucatan at sites such as Calakmul and El Mirador. This video provides a theory that illustrates the connective tissue of who and why these events take place and it all revolves around the concept of transoceanic trade from the Levant to the Americas.

The Jaredites and The Serpents
There is new evidence that ancient seafarers made their way to the Americas in the 15th Century BC. How does this get recorded in the Book of Mormon and who was already present in Mesoamerica when the Nephites and Mulekites arrived. This presentation explores how historical reports from the Book of Mormon actually match the early developing cultures in the southern Yucatan and the Peten of Guatemala. This demonstrates how incredibly well this information fits what is found in the archaeological record.

Did Joseph of Egypt Interact With The Jaredites?
The Book of Mormon has a thin history of a people called the Jaredites who populated Ancient America beginning in the third millennia BC and lasting until about 300 BC when their culture dissolved due to war and strife. However, their record made mention of Joseph of Egypt and the fact that the Americas would become the location of a New Jerusalem built by his progeny. From the scant hints provided in the Jaredite history, we have collected evidence that infers why the Americas might be a land that God covenanted to Joseph as an inheritance for his seed. These are fascinating concepts and questions that require decades of research to uncover the true history of Ancient America.
