Rideshare Drivers and Personal Injury
What happens when a Rideshare Driver gets injured in an accident or some other incident? How much insurance is already available to divers outside of taking out additional policies which they would need to pay for themselves.
In this video, one of my riders who happens to be a personal injury attorney from the US says, there's not much coverage, at least in the US. He tells the story of a driver in Colorado who was injured in bad accident where his passenger was killed. Now he is left with little insurance money to live on, which he will need for the rest of his life because he is no longer able to work.
His message is simple. Take out as much additional insurance as you can uncomfortably afford because you never know when you might need it.

Rideshare Killed My Inheritance
One of the topics I want to cover in my documentary is how Rideshare disrupted the taxi industry. What better person to speak to than someone who's family were taxi plate owners for decades before rideshare started in Australia. But there is more to the story because if an international corporation can be allowed to disrupt one licensed and regulated business, it sets a precedence for other industries as well.
