This long deleted 1959 album features vocalist Eugenie Baird (1923-1988) performing Duke Ellington compositions with Duke Ellington's son Mercer Ellington (1919-1996) and members of Duke Ellington's band.
The album was released on Design Records, catalogue number DLP-93. I have never seen it on CD, mp3 or streaming.
Audio taken from a 1959 US pressing of the original Design Records vinyl LP.

Scott Joplin - Piano Rags Volume 2 - Joshua Rifkin (1972) [Complete LP]

Scott Joplin (1868-1917) was one of most influential composers of ragtime music for piano.
In 1971-72 Nonesuch Records released a series of albums featuring pianist Joshua Rifkin performing Scott Joplin compositions.
This is Volume 2 of that series, released in 1972, as Nonesuch Records catalogue number H-21764.
Following the renewed popularity of Scott Joplin's music after its use in the Paul Newman/Robert Redford movie The Sting in 1973, these Joshua Riflin records became popular sellers.

Gene Ammons & Sonny Stitt-Together Again For The Last Time (1973) [Complete LP]

Gene Ammons (1925-1974) and Sonny Stitt (1924-1982) were two of the leading tenor sax players of their day.
They were teamed up for several albums in the early 1960's. In 1973 they were teamed up again for the recordings on this album, which were done at C.I. Studios in New York City on 20-21 November 1973 and 10 December 1973. These were the last recordings they made together before Gene Ammons' death in 1974.
The album was released in 1976 on Prestige Records, catalogue number P-10100, but has been deleted from the Prestige Records catalogue for decades.
The audio here was taken from a 1970's US pressing of the original Prestige Records vinyl LP.
