One Of Our Deleted Albums Series The Mills Brothers released this album in 1961 on Dot Records, catalogue number DLP-3338. It appears to have been deleted from the catalogues and, as far as I can tell, is no longer available commercially. Audio here taken from a 1960's Canadian pressing of the original Dot Records vinyl LP, which I found recently in a "Free Records" bin in a local second hand record store. Track List: 1. One Of Our Deleted Albums Series The Brass Connection was a Canadian band comprised of some of Toronto's leading jazzmen and session players of the period. This album was recorded at McClear Place Studios in Toronto in 1983 and subsequently released on the California based Jazz Alliance label, catalogue number TJA-10014. This album has been deleted for many years and is currently only available as second hand copies. I found this one recently in a "Free CDs" bin at a local second hand record store. A previous owner was apparently a fan of Don Thompson, who plays piano and vibes on this album, and made the handwritten notation "Don Thompson - Vibes" on the front cover and highlighted Don Thompson's name in the credits. One Of Our Deleted Albums Series Freddy Gardner (1910-1950) was one of Britain's most popular sax players from the early 1930's until his death in 1950. This is a 10 inch LP released circa 1950 on Columbia Records, catalogue number CL-6240, featuring eight Freddy Gardner recordings made circa 1945-1950. Most of these recordings were made with the Peter Yorke Concert Orchestra backing Freddy Gardner. All of the recordings on this record are available on CD.
