The word Kabaddi means "holding your breath," and that's exactly what players do when they play this sport. Kabaddi is a contact sport that is played between two teams of seven players each. The aim of the game is for a player to cross over into the other team's half, tag as many defenders as possible, and then return to their own half of the court - all without taking a breath. Now, let me tell you the inspiring story that comes with this unique sport. In 2018, the Indian women's Kabaddi team won gold at the Asian Games. This was a historic moment in Indian sports history, as it was the first time that the women's team had won gold in Kabaddi.
