John Shipton, David McBride and Eddie Lloyd talk about truth telling, War Crimes and whistleblowers
Eddie Lloyd - Criminal Lawyer, and Ex Lismore Councilor, recently known for her work in keeping Climate Change Activist Violet Coco out of Prison.
David McBride - Ex ADF Lawyer stationed in Afghanistan soon facing trial for a 50 year sentence for leaking the Afghan Files to the ABC which resulted in the AFP raids.
John Shipton - Julian Assange's father, tireless campaigner for his freedom and our rights to Free Speech.

These three defenders of Truth and Justice came to Lismore for a Screening of 'Incident in Baghdad', 'Declassified' and a Q and A session with Legendary Lawyer Eddie Lloyd last Thursday evening.
This was truly a Uniting and inspiring Truth Telling gathering for People against the Brutality of War, the corruption of, and the role of the state and establishment media in manufacturing the consent for war. While First Nations people around the world feel the Brutal and colonizing forces of Western AUKUS imperialism War Capitalism.
Especially important for me, in this context, is the misinformation Legislation being pushed through in all of the 5 Eyes Security signals Alliance of which Australia is a part. This will diminish our ability to voice dissent, while making allowable misinformation anything publish by the State or Professional News Services.

Without independent small media we cannot bring Truth to light. And more innocent people will be imprisoned while they guilty walk the halls of power.

Ben Gilmore, David McBride and John Shipton honoring Truth Tellers and Whistleblowers
Truth Tellers and Whistelbowers unite - #truthnotwar presents:
Lismore artists make art 4 change: filmmakers, actors, arts facilitators, visual artists and musicians were invited to attend an intimate gathering honoring Truth Tellers and Whistlebowers, David McBride, Julian Assange's father John Shipton and filmmaker Benjamin Gilmour.
If the Consent for War can be Manufactured, then we will create the mandate for Peace - in our case, through Art.
The Film 'Jirga', written and directed by Benjamin Gilmour, explores the 'moral injury' encountered when soldiers realize they have been sent to fight an unjust war, something David McBride often talks about. Jirga tells the story of a soldier seeking forgiveness from the family of a man he killed while serving in the war.and combatants the moral injury
http://benjamingilmour.com/films-2/
Benjamin spoke of having his eyes opened while he was shooting the film 'Jirga' in Afghanistan, to the Brutalities inflicted on Tribal Afghan people from Occupying Western Forces. Followed by John Shipton talking on the suppression of real voices and control of the 'Logos' or 'rational discourse', and how do we keep sharing Truth in the face of suppression.
David McBride, the ex ADF Lawyer who reported 39 war crimes committed by ADF personnel, which he reported to the chain of command only to have it swept under the carpet, spoke candidly on preparing for his trial and potential Life Imprisonment, and the need to keep a positive, happy and joyful disposition in spite of it.
Great speeches here and well done to everyone that helped bring this together, Unity through Truth Telling is a sobering, yet joyful gathering and vital to our survival.

Ngemba People speak at the Brewarrina fish traps on Nation Building and the 2023 referendum
Ngemba people, of the Brewarrina Fish Traps, make their voices heard on the issues that affect them such as
Their struggle to maintain Cultural responsibilities in looking after and making use of their fish traps under colonization
Assimilatory Commonwealth practices
The need for First Nation's Building
The need to reaffirm inter Tribal/Nations agreements
Their thoughts on the Referendum for the Voice to Parliament and why they are in opposition
Their personal experience of the Uluru dialogues process
Speaking here is Ippia Aunty Doreen McHughes, Natalie Eastwood and Jason Ford of the Ngemba Nation.
The Brewarrina fish traps are the oldest known man made structure on the planet, it is a highly significant site for all humanity and reflects the ancient, enduring, deep connection and caring for country that Ngemba and other First Nations people hold.
I came out to this country on other business, and in reverence to the significance of the fish traps it was the first place I stopped when I was passing through Brewarrina. Shortly after arriving I met Gregory Bloomfield, who after a brief conversation wanted me to meet his elder, who informs his decision making, Aunty Doreen McHughes.
These people welcomed me into the community with open hearts and they are among some of the most intelligent, passionate, genuine and warm people as I have met anywhere.
If you want First Nations people to have a Voice, then please listen to the people using theirs.

I was going to livestream this.. but I thought that would be a lot easier! oops.. so, sorry..I missed the start and no video. This is their appearance in the town of Casino, NSW.
I could give you my opinions but I'd rather you make up your own mind.
