Maddog's Adventures

Finally finished up the front of the house siding, moved to the back and made good progress. Insulation delivered.

Blew in the attic insulation then tried to finish the siding on the back but ran out of siding. Will need to order some.

Finished the south wall siding, Karen did some video of the creeks.

Finally got the last window removed and closed in. Sided a lot of the back wall. The dry creek is flowing and water is coming over all three exit roads basically trapping us in.

Spent most of the day installing the door to the carport, then jacked up the support beam in the basement a little more.

Final window installed in the living room. Started siding the south side. Planted 5 blue spruce and sprayed a tree infested with some kind of worm sac.

Cold rainy day. Put up some siding on the south wall until rain pushed me in. Foam board and J-channel done on the back porch.

Removed the new and old siding from the south wall. One living room window installed.

Put the shower/tub surround in, with issues. Removed the exterior door from the master bedroom.

Spare and master bedrooms windows installed, master bath and spare bath windows removed.

Finished siding the front porch, removed laundry window, fixed wall damage

Removed one living room window and installed a new one, removed new and old siding, installed foam board and almost got the siding back up.

finished the rest of the subfloor, removed the front door, fixed the previous door install mess, installed the new front door.

Ceiling drywall hung, tomorrow will be a break and shopping day before we start on doors and windows.

finished hanging drywall in 5 of 8 rooms.

Got most of the plywood done, ran out of nails again and one sheet short. Started hanging ceiling drywall.

Plywood subfloor all day.

Messed around in the basement getting the plumbing working for the toilet. Planed the rest of the trusses in the dining and kitchen.

Finished camera wiring, widened laundry room door, fixed heat pump wire to the C/B box, cut out the pantry bottom plate and started trimming ceiling trusses.

Friday was a shopping day, today we ripped up the front half the house particle board so it is all done. Framed the pantry, fixed squeaks, evaluated water leaks.

Ran the surround sound conduit in the attic, wired 3 of the security cameras, laid the last 3 sheets of OSB and ripped up the linoleum in the dining and kitchen.

Installed the porch ceiling outlet, laid some boards in the attic to help walk, installed backers to screw drywall to

Breaker box is complete, all wiring installed to the box, all fan vents done, started installing insulation baffles.

Finished the master bed lighting and outlets, started spare bed and bath outlets, tried to seal the gutters.

Planted some fruit trees, Worked wiring in spare bedroom and laundry room.
