On a scorching hot day in late August, 2021, a Westbound GE AC4400, #162 and a GE ES44AC #875(also 4400hp) cross the north-south Hamlet diamond with the familiar "clack-clack, clack-clack", almost 200 times...(we haven't counted the cars, but it's gotta be close)

The CSX Lake James Trestle was built in 1907 as part of the South & Western and was part of the last portion of the line built which included the Clinchfield Loops. Here, a well used AC4400 performs local duties crossing the trestle heading southbound in early August, 2021.

A good part of the day at the Selma interlocking on November 26, 2020. Watch CSX coal go south, Norfolk Southern Ethanol go east, CSX mixed freight with Tropicana juice cars go north and the Amtrak Carolinian heading to Charlotte from NYC stop at the Selma station.
