One of the funniest things to do when not chasing fish is to catch Bullfrogs. Bullfrogs are aggressive and will attack small baits. There fun to sneak up on and try to catch. Kids love chasing them and the action is exciting.

This old school swim bait can be fished in the jungle and it catches bigs. This bait is responsible for 2 of the top 20 biggest bass out of California.

Here is a quick report on the Kings river and Shell knob area of table rock lake. Water temps: 63-65 Water visibility: 2-3 feet a few empty beds. Largemouth half way in the coves on small bluffs. Another very effective underutilized bait for practice is the soft swimbait. I like to use for PRACTICE those that are 4-6 inches. And I am not talking paddle tail grubs like Keitechs and such.

Part 2: Glide baits are not only a big fish bait but their drawing power can be utilized to find fish, size fish and gauge their mood. It is one of the most effective practice baits.
