When 2 or more pray God gives you what you are praying for...not so fast. This was a scripture we heard used when we were caught up in LOA/manifesting when people would use scripture to support it. Look closer at this verse and the context. Open your Bible to Matthew 18 and read the whole chapter. This 2 or more being a witness goes back to the OT in Deuteronomy 19:15 Then come back to verses 19 - 20 in Matthew 18 Do you see? This is about Jesus helping us bring lost sheep back, to discipline, to help believers that are struggling with sin. Yes, prayer is important. Yes, praying with others and for others is important. Believers are called to lead the lost back to Jesus so He can restore them. Look how this chapter starts and ends. What is it about? Sharing some of our favorite read aloud books that we have read so far in our home. Plus I share one book that we did not really enjoy that much. And at the end I share a new resource, an APP, we started using for audio books (plus it has other things too) that we have really been enjoying! If you are new, hi I am Lori and I have 2 girls. I am homeschooling for my second year. My daughters are in 3rd and 2nd grade. We are doing Classical Conversations as our main curriculum and I supplement with math, reading and writing. With Easter coming we wanted to share this reminder as we all need it daily, not just around holidays. In today’s video, I share my next must-have bedtime devotions and books for young kids to help them learn about Jesus and to grow in their faith. I know how hard it is to find good books to read to your kids these days. I am always on the hunt for books that highlight the Christian faith well and have the same passion for God's story as I do. A few weeks into our second homeschool year and I realized this whole spelling thing wasn't working anymore.
