It was 48 degrees today in our neck of the woods in Wisconsin and the ice is melting fast! Otis Cat is mesmerized every year by the bubbles that surface from under the melting ice in the Marsh. Floki goes the same exact direction every morning as soon as the door is open and before he indulges in breakfast. What does he check on every morning? A 100+ year old house has a lot of history and we do see something dash between doorways sometimes or a faucet will turn on by itself and the attics are creepy! Zoe cat loves to hang out by the attic doors and stick her feet under the space trying to get in. This time, something weird happened! We have so many muskrats this year! I thought is was interesting the Muskrat ran TOWARDS perceived danger instead of away! Silly goose! Moral of the story is don't walk directly down a Muskrat trail. This is the first time I've had the opportunity to get Mario Cat on video. I have a couple of photos but no videos. I didn't know he was on the log until I turned around and, boom, there he was!

Zoe Cat ~ "I love the cat doors and Floki and Otis do, too, but they are just looking for attention! We have cat doors everywhere and they use them when Momma and PawPaw are not looking.
