EUP #4 | I sent an open letter to the EP against the DIGITAL EURO Filmed: 07/06/2023 The European Central Bank & European Commission announced that they want to introduce a "framework for the DIGITAL EURO" somewhere in June 2023. - I think the digital euro is a frankly TERRIBLE idea. And I have plenty of arguments. Which is why I wrote & sent an open letter to all 500+ members of the @europeanparliament asking them to vote AGAINST the digital euro (including translations in 23 European languages). Because direct democracy has to start somewhere, right? Europe is suffering from pollution, a chronic power shortage and more. Yet the EU has mandated that everything should become electric. Without realizing the negative aspects of this. Such as increased power consumption to power all the electric cars, e-bikes, smartphones, heat pumps and other electrical devices. Or the terrible pollution and inhumane practices that come with the production of these gadgets. How high must the price be of total electrification? Recorded on 11/05/2023. During the last elections in Italy, a mob of Italians tore down the European flag and stomped on it. Which perfectly demonstrates one of the fundamental problems of the EU: Lack of popular support. This is not good, as only through European cooperation can we free our continent from the Americans, Russians and Chinese ... Why did these Italians do this though?
