Yes, You Should Be Proud of Your Amazing American History!
On this Veteran's Day, consider this:
Our Mayflower ancestors paved the way for this incredible, unprecedented nation and our Revolutionary ancestors like Alden-direct descendant John Adams created something entirely new that had never been done before. Previously, the people served the government (king/emperor). This "American Experiment" was the first time it was the other way around - the government serving the people.
Our Mayflower ancestors created the Mayflower Compact which was signed today, November 11 (by the Julian calendar which the Pilgrims used then - today we use the Gregorian calendar which adds 10 days). The Mayflower Compact laid out the seeds of a new approach to society and our John Adams and the other Founding Fathers looked to the Compact for guidance and carried it even further.
But freedom is not free. Today (and every day), we thank the countless Alden veterans and all veterans past present and future, for risking all to protect our God-given freedoms and defend us against tyranny. Eternal gratitude and honor to all. Thank you. Now it is on our watch. Stay vigilant and protect what they created for us. God Bless America and the Free World. Land of the free, home of the brave. 🇺🇸❤️

An American Story
I was honored to host this short documentary film about the famous "First Couple" of the Mayflower - John Alden and Priscilla Mullins who are also my ancestors. These pioneering lovebirds forged a new life in the New World and John signed the Mayflower Compact which was a precursor and inspiration for the United States Constitution. President John Adams was also a direct descendant of John and Priscilla Alden and likely considered their efforts when working to establish the new United States of America. This is an American Story.

Our Amazing American History - The Adams Presidents and The Amistad
We have seen many statues of our founding fathers destroyed in 2020 under the auspice of canceling former slaveholders, but the narrative is conveniently leaving out the Adams' Presidents - John and John Quincy who were active abolitionists along with wife and Mom Abigail Adams. Let's look back at what really happened and how the Declaration of Independence came to the rescue yet again.

Mayflower Compact Day
The Mayflower Compact was an incredibly important document that strongly influenced our Democracy and later U.S. Constitution. They signed the Mayflower Compact on board the Mayflower on November 11, 1620 (Julian calendar) in Provincetown Harbour on Cape Cod. Grateful for their early insight and pioneering spirit.

Let's Be Fair - A Look Back at Thanksgiving
There are so many articles circulating about how the Thanksgiving you learned in school isn't what really happened. They then proceed to download a very narrow and historically incorrect narrative about that gathering which does such a disservice to our heritage, our country and our ability to learn from history. This is an off the cuff (no makeup!) LIVE response video that I hope will address some of these inaccuracies the media doesn't bother to research.
