Episode #4 – Building The First Building Welcome to Episode #4 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we build a 16x9 stone brick house over one of the stairs and on the corner of the pad. We put in a huge picture window, two oak wood doors, birch slabs for the floor, oak wood slabs for the roof and we make three lanterns and hang them from the ceiling. Welcome to Episode #3 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we build out the fence around the pad, what a beauty! We put in our stair cases. We also do a big land clearing/excavation to build out the walls. You have to see how they turn out. And you will be amazed at the clearing what was done. So sit back relax and enjoy this episode. Episode #2 – Exploring The First Cave Welcome to Episode #2 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we throw a curve ball and decide to go explore the first cave near where our main base is going to be. We get lots of iron and coal and find a surprise at the bottom of the cave, what can it be? When we come back for Episode #3 we will start building the fence and grand stairway up to our 33x33 pad on level 85 where we are going to start our main base. Episode #1 – Let The Exploring Begin Welcome to Episode #1 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we explore parts of the starting map and find a Zombie Village to explore at around 923, 63, 131. We get some veggies and seeds that we can use for the farm we will start. We find a couple chests with some goodies in them and we take the chests to use for our own. Along the way we find a good area to start setting up our own base. It is on a nice ridge so we have a good view of the surrounding area. We find a zombie spawner near the base and that will come in handy later. We start to clear the ground. Episode #12 – Automatic Sugar Cane Farm Welcome to Episode #12 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we build an Automatic Sugar Cane Farm. You will need an area 15x5 and a bunch of pistons and glass. Check out the video for all the parts and pieces you need. This thing works slick and will help you get lots of sugarcane so that you can have plenty of paper for maps and trading. Episode #11 – Abandoned Mine Shaft Welcome to Episode #11 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we go exploring and find an Abandoned Mine Shaft. The more we explore it the more good loot we and ores we find and we realize that this thing is MASSIVE. There are at least TWO Spider Spawners that we find, untold amounts of ores and so much Dark Oak Wood that we will be able to build just about anything we want out of it. Episode #10 – Semi Automatic Garden Welcome to Episode #10 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we build a Semi Automatic Garden. I got the idea from from K1 Inc. on YouTube, but I had to modify his design just a bit to make it work with Minecraft Bedrock Edition, basically just had to delete the redstone torches and only go two blocks deep for the water holding area. Still need to go three blocks deep for the redstone to the lever. K1 Inc.’s original video can be found here https://youtu.be/emZ0jcn4gIA I did build one farm to make sure it worked and then we build this farm right next to the existing one. It will make farming faster and it is fun to watch all the crops get harvested all at once. While building the farm we have some Pillagers come around not once, but twice. Anyways we took care of the problem and continued on building our farm. Hopefully you will find this useful and be able to use it in your worlds. Episode #9 – The Automatic Chicken Farm Welcome to Episode #9 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we build an Automatic Chicken Farm. I got the idea from Rogue Fox on YouTube and followed his tutorial which can be found at https://youtu.be/jjOmQUXBEN0 The Automatic Chicken Farm looks very nice when it is all put together. Takes me a little longer as I need to find some chickens and wait for first egg to hatch and grown up, but you will see that it works as advertised. Now we can work on projects around the base and world and not have to worry about food or feather (which we need to make arrows with for our bow). Hopefully you can build an Automatic Chicken Farm of your own and put it to work in your world. Episode #8 – The Nether Welcome to Episode #8 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we create a Nether Portal, it was constructed in its own building/hillside next to my main base. We finish it off and light it up with the flint and steel and head to The Nether. It is a little toasty when we get there (watch and find out why). We have to avoid Ghast attacks also. But we wonder around and explore the Nether. While we do that we find a Nether Fortress. We are lucky enough to find some Blaze and get Blaze Rods from them and we also find a Blaze Spawner. Episode #7 – Diamonds & Obsidian Welcome to Episode #7 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we check out the mine that I have been working on since the last episode. In this episode we find lots of diamonds, gold ore and Lapis. I also decide to try and get some obsidian made so that we can make a nether portal in the next episode. Episode #6 – Pillager Outpost & Redstone Welcome to Episode #6 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this episode we go explore the Pillager Outpost and see if we can get any good loot. Welcome to Episode #5 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. We go explore the desert village we see in the distance. We find a few good loot items and help ourselves to the chests also. While at the desert village we also spot a desert temple, so we head off and check it out. We find some very nice items there, iron, gold, emeralds and much much more. Since we still have a little time on our hands we go explore the top right hand corner of our starting map and find some clay in the river that we will make red bricks from to use on our next building project. Episode #21 – Sheep Pen Welcome to Episode #21 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this video we build a Sheep Pen so that we are able to separate 16 sheep, one for each color of wool you can dye. You can use this pen for any animal though. I like it for sheep the best. It is scalable, so you can make it as large or as small as you want. Episode #20 – The Cow Pen Welcome to Episode #20 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this video we build a cow pen to put some cows in. You can use this pen for any animal. I like it for cows and pigs. We use Oak wood fences, Dark Oak wood gates, torches and stone bricks to build this simple yet effective cow pen. Episode #18 – Looking For Spruce Trees & Map Exploration Welcome to Episode #18 of my Minecraft Let’s Play Series. In this video we set off and explore the map that is one map below our starting map, we have explored a lot of the map and there is a vast desert, on the right hand side of the map looks to be mountains and trees. We will take off and look for Spruce Trees in that area and explore the hills. What will we find? Spruce? Coal? Dark Oak Wood? Snow? Who knows what we find. This layout gives us enough space to put all 15 bookshelves (we actually use 16) to get max enchants and we have plenty of room to add chests and an anvil and a grindstone.
