TRANSATLANTIC DISNEY CRUISE DAY 8 - PONTA DELGADA, PORTUGAL
Day 8 had us finally reaching dry land and our first port excursion of the trip, Ponta Delgada Portugal. Our guide drove a small group of brave souls up to Sete Cidades to bike through the town followed up by a kayak adventure on the lake. Upon our return we were fortunate enough to explore the port town while they were preparing for a festival.
TRANSATLANTIC DISNEY CRUISE DAY 7 - GROUP BRUNCH AT PALO
Our day 7 began with a group brunch at Palo. From there it was all about napkin folding. I've always wanted to take this class, but never seemed to make it on previous Disney cruises. As an added bonus to the day we caught a glimpse at dolphins playing along side our ship, it was an awesome sight to see.

TRANSATLANTIC DISNEY CRUISE DAY 5 - DINNER AT PALO
Day 5 brought wind and rain so we chilled in the Cove Cafe and played the Phase 10 card game. Later that night we dressed up for dinner at Palo, one of the ships two fine dining restaurants. We also got to watch Jack Jack's Diaper Dash competition, you won't want to miss that one.

TRANSATLANTIC DISNEY CRUISE DAY 2 - FIRST DAY AT SEA
Day number 2 was all about getting acclimated to all the Disney Dream had to offer. From pictures with the princesses to 3D arts and crafts, we did it all. It was also the first formal night so dinner attire was a bit fancier than usual.

TRANSATLANTIC DISNEY CRUISE DAY 1 - COME SAIL AWAY
It's finally here, day 1 of our trip across the sea together! Day 1 is all about getting on the ship, hitting Cabanas for a bite to eat and then play time before getting into the room. The port was a madhouse with 6 other ships heading out that same day, but it all worked out somehow.

TRANSATLANTIC DISNEY CRUISE DAY 0 - GETTING THERE
For our 20th year anniversary my wife and I decided to take a transatlantic Disney cruise from Miami to Portugal, ending in Spain. I chronicled the entire trip start to finish so that we could share our experience with all of you. In day zero you find us getting from California to Miami and we chose to fly in a day early as neither of us have been to Miami and wanted to hang out at the beach and take in a nice dinner as well as the sights.
