Sultans of Swing First Solo Phrase trainer
Dire Straits
Mark Knopfler's iconic guitar solo #1 on Sultans of Swing
Check out https://www.markknopfler.com/ too.
Phrase trainer for the first solo. Great example in the rock vein of "playing the changes". Strat. Clean tone. Throw in some compression. Try experimenting with pickup positions 2 and 4 also.
Thanks.

Bad Company: Shooting Star Solo Progressive Speed Trainer
Solo by Mick Ralphs on Bad Company's Shooting Star.
I added a hi-hat hit with a count for each note to drive home the rhythm in the solo. You can try just counting and tapping the rhythm of the solo by reading the hi-hat line too. Watch the 32nd notes and play 2 notes for each 16th note. And as always, find the original recording and SLOW it down to practice and learn the phrasing.
