In my experience, the two best filters that I have found in terms of overall performance and value are the Pleatco model PA-106 and the Aladdin model 20601 R. There is also a copy of the Aladdin filter made by Primal. I previously used the Unicel model# C-7488, but I found them to be far inferior to the Pleatco and Aladdin filters.
