Description

The ho'oponopono way is a group devoted to those of us who choose to live our lives from the inside out on purpose. Many think that life is all about acquiring 'success' which means gathering material things in and encouraging our children to follow our example. Since the colonisation of traditional people, which coincided with the Agricultural and Industrial Revolutions it has been a commonly held belief that this is the correct way to live. It's led to the disrespecting of workers by those who employ them (With some exceptions due to those following models of Liberal Philanthropy). What is missing in this model, however, is a reverence for all experience. For recognising that our outer worlds of experience are simply a reflection of our inner mind-set. The ancient teachers (kahunas) of Hawaii taught their children from an early age that each of us carries a basket. As we travel through life, we pick up rocks to fill the basket. Naturally, as we do so the basket gets heavier, and heavier. This is an error. To correct it, they would perform a ho'oponopono ceremony. This would petition Aloha (Divinity) to remove the weighty stone and replace it with the weightless white light of which Divinity is made. In their world, everything was alive and connected via strings (which they named AKA cords). Today, we can see evidence of this in Bell's Theorem (which Einstein called 'spooky action at a distance, and which has been proven true by scientific experimentation is what is known as The Aspect Experiment). Ho'oponopono isn't the same as The Law of Attraction. In ho'oponopono the aim is to replace our karmic memories with the inspiration of Divinity. You may think of this as 'Doing the right thing'. The Law of Attraction, on the other hand is about acquiring what we think we want, rather than being inspired to receive what we need on a day-today basis. Some of us (who practice ho'oponopono) will inevitably become wealthy because we are inspired to use 'Aloha' to further the well-being of the whole. This is the natural, and unconditional way to be. It's reflected in the symbiotic relationship that we have with the plants, trees, land, oceans and all the many beings which surround us. We are truly the representatives of our ancestors and of future generations. It is to this spirit that this group is dedicated.
