Memorial Day
Emulsion Episode 6, "Memeorial Day" has me talking about taking pictures with a Memorial Day theme in a historical graveyard. This video touches on the subject of taking pictures from the back of tombstones instead of the front so no names are included. And why historical graveyards are good places to visit.

Waterparks - A Few Ideas for Photos
Emulsion's Episode 1 about taking pictures at water parks. I cover a few ideas coming from the point of view of someone who enjoys picture taking but also as a former photojournalist and current stock photographer.
I delve into a bit of details, but not too deep, around those ideas. Really, I'm pretty light on all the fancy stuff.
Waterparks have much subject matter, and these ideas are just that, ideas.
Have fun and explore the park. It's important to have fun.

Ghoulmates, an 8mm film.
On Halloween four monsters living together are paid a visit by a trick-or-treater. And he just might have a trick that will get him all the candy.
This was shot on black and white super 8mm film. I believe it was the Yashica camera again. It was trusty.

Sandbar, an 8mm Film
We shot with a Yashica model super 8mm film camera, this short is about the conflict that arises between a young woman who patiently sits on a river’s edge while her boyfriend buries a body farther up the sandbar.
However, the young lady has no concerns with it. Oddly, her agenda seems to be more focused on luring her lover to sit by her side.
I'm Kelly Tippett, thanks for reading and hope you enjoy this old school method of film making.

Romanorum
John was once a roman soldier who helped crucify a god and has been condemned to walk the earth forever. When women are coming up dead John believes by stopping the killer, he might get a chance at being mortal again.
Note: This was begun in 2008 using a Sony fx7 digital camera. I did a final edit in 2017 that resulted in me breaking it down into episodes due to my weakness in audio skills. I have since gotten better, but I did a more ruthless edit, this week of May 4th, 2023, and cut 20 minutes. Mostly focusing on cutting the worse of the audio. It came down to 45 minutes, which tightened the story. Keep in mind this was started before 4k video, before cell phone video, I was shooting on digital tape.
I did the story and Vicky L. Neal did the script with input. If any producers are willing to remake it, to modernize it, please give me a holler.

Time Machine Camera
A short my wife Holly and I did. Though it may be an inside joke with us about my attempts at losing weight, we thought it funny to explore the idea of time travel as a product way to diet.
Seems my procrastination would still be the main problem.

Deliverance from Evil, the story of Sandra and Rollin Miller (48 minutes long)
Sandra Miller wrote at the top of her letter titled "Deliverance from Evil," the following message, "WARNING: what follows is a graphic description what we experienced on July 7, 2022. The details are important to help you comprehend the work of God. If you are squeamish, stop and go to something else." That letter was shared on Facebook and that same warning should apply to this interview as well.
On the night of July 7th, 2022, the home of Sandra and Rollin Miller was broken into while they slept. Recounting their story; Sandra Miller, wrote it down and shared it on Facebook. It was titled “Deliverance from Evil. I read it and asked if we could interview them so that their story could be shared on video as well. This is the 48-minute edit.
They sat down with us, Kelly and Holly Tippett, and introduced themselves, told us what happened, and their feelings afterward.

Using a DSLR Camera in Auto for Stock Photography.

DSLR stands for Digital Single-Lens Reflex camera. This video illustrates how easy it is to use one to make money with stock photography.
Beginning with items around your home!
Sure, it's edited for quickness, but it's basically how you do it. That simple! And in "auto" mode the settings set themselves.
Just make sure you are in plenty of light.
In this example, we go outside.
There are many different stock photo agencies out there. Please check them all out and see what is right for you. And you can submit to more then one. Just keep trucking and read their guidelines.

Midnight Snack Run
To help curb her husband's urge for midnight snacks, Holy comes up with a sure fire plan her husband will benefit from in his battle against weight gain.
I'm Kelly Tippett and my wife Holy and I came up with this. And, yes, it really happened at the end. It was not fake, though it was supposed to be, and we were to cut away to black screen and then do a sound effect of it happening.
Without giving it away, I will only say it was a very sensitive mechanism. This is not recommended by us as an actual plan.
