Bremont - Kingsman Special Edition Watch Alt1-WT/B Review
Two of my absolute favourite watches of all time, from a movie that is easily in my top 10 movies of all time. I present to you the Bremont Alt1-WT and Alt1-B, Kingsman editions.
These pieces are limited edition and I'm fortunate enough to own two of them. Sadly the Rose Gold version may never be mine, but in a way it's a good thing to have something to strive for.
This one took me a long time time film. I started this in December of 2023 and due to my workload, and a minor heart attack (yeah, that wasn't fun) I got slowed down by a lot of things. However I'm proud to present my review of these fantastic watches.
Apologies to Matthew Vaughn, Bremont amd 20th Century Fox, any and all copyrighted material is from the trailer and purely used to advertise your wonderful movie .. and I do NOT monetize my videos so rest assured I ain't making a penny out of it.

Tudor Black Bay S&G GMT - Review
Introducing the Steel and Gold Tudor GMT. The Root Beer.
A truly beautiful and subtle watch that will surely please you if you're after a 'traveler' GMT with vintage vibes. Taking inspirations from it's more opulent brother (Rolex) but in keeping with the Tudor aesthetic. I sold two watches I NEVER thought I would ever sell in order to buy this watch. Find out which one's I sold .. and why. And if you own this watch .. let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
If you’re interested in the rubber strap I have my watch of for some shots in the video. This is a high quality, beautifully made silicone rubber sports strap from the Juelong Store on Aliexpress … direct link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003561991129.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.0.0.6f96f19cWmwzKR
You also see my Pepsi GMT on a thicker rubber and leather strap, this comes from the same store. They have lots of 22mm and 20mm options for watches and I can highly recommend them. Also they are so ludicrously cheap to buy that it’s worth picking up a whole bunch from them.

Romancing the Rolex Air-King
For anyone seeking their first Rolex watch and looking to experience a sports / luxury timepiece the Rolex Air-King 116900 offers the best of all worlds. Subtle, easy to use, sporty, elegant, and full of character. A piece the flies below the radar .. so there's less worry about watch-thieves eyeballing your expensive timepiece as they're all after the bigger brothers of this.
It's a superb 40mm diameter watch. If this were to be your only Rolex I think you could do far worse. A piece to wear, use and enjoy .. and to pass down to future generations when the time is right.

Nomadic watches - Blue Marai 401 Unboxing
Trying out a different kind of format where I review a watch whilst showing some of the local restaurants in Vancouver where I live. The idea being to have a less formal setting and bit more 'Off the cuff'.
An unboxing, and first impressions, and thoughts of the Irish Watch Brand Nomadic with their Marai 401 blue dive watch.
The restaurant I ate at is called 'Glowbal' and they're located at Seymour and West Georgia Street in Downtown Vancouver. Right opposite 'Time & Gold' another local watch dealer.
Note: Although I had thought the audio would be captured by my Apple ear buds it seems they do not do this natively, one has to use other software for that. As such the audio was a right mess and this video very nearly got scrapped. But DaVinci Resolve (my edit software) now has an 'isolate audio' function which literally saved the video from deletion. So yes .. the audio is a little 'funky' in places .. but I've done my best with it. At least you can hear what I'm saying.
Let me know in the comments if you want more of this sort of review. Or .. if you'd prefer to never see this kind of thing again? :P .. I mean, I won't know unless you say something.
Frankly, viewing figures are really low so there's not too much incentive for me to continue this other than occasionally just to blog out my own thoughts on some new watch. I've tried everything and the dreaded 'algorithm' refuses to let me in. Or ... maybe my videos are crap? .. Who can tell. I do my best after all.
Anyways .. let me know.

Bremont Alt1-B - Mechanical Watch Review
Absolutely one of the most underrated watches ever. A fantastic piece that has usurped all the wrist time of any of my watches and become the de facto 'daily wear' watch.
I filmed a lot of this video during winter in mid March, hence the crappy weather, however I wasn't entirely satisfied with the commentary at the time and felt that it wasn't working. I sat down and recorded a seperate commentary (it kinda shows) but after also filming a lot of stuff on my recent vacation to the UK during May I felt I had enough material to complete the video. So if you watch my Rolex vs. Bremont video after this and it seems like that video was made before this one? .. that's cuz it is (even though the Rolex video was filmed much later on).
Limited free time means these videos do end up with a few gaffs and mistakes .. but the way I see it is, as I improve .. you'll notice that improvement all the more :P
The Bremont ALT1-B is a GMT / Chronograph with DLC hardened steel case, 100 meters of water resistance and stunning good looks. Bremont absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one and it's no wonder this watch served as the inspiration for the 'Kingsman' gadget watch in 'Kingsman: the secret service'.
Join me as I wax lyrical about this wonderful piece

Sinn Navitimer - 903 Pilots Watch
During the Quartz crisis of the 1970's-80's, Breitling was struggling hard to maintain production of luxury watches and at one point sold the license to produce the 'Navitimer' chronograph to Sinn. A German watch company based in Frankfurt.
Arguably Sinn has produced a better Navitimer than the original company that started it. The watch is superbly made. Meticulous, precise with a look and feel that commands a price tag of around $3500 USD.
This is one of the Sinn watches currently available to buy at Roldorf & Co, an independent watchmaker service center and shop located in Vancouver BC, Canada. An official authorized dealer of Sinn watches.
Check out this video of the Sinn 903. And see more details at Roldorf.co

The Tudor Black Bay Heritage
Romancing the watch
And here it is .. long overdue but I managed to finish it. Most of my videos are held hostage to me finding the right music to fit on it. In this case I couldn't really find anything I'd written that suited this particular watch (I'm also a composer in case you didn't know). But then I hit upon one of my Favourite Mozart pieces .. Piano Concerto No. 21 (second movement) .. PERFECTION!
A classy watch, and I've done my very best to lavish every angle of this beautiful piece. I had original put the actual Tudor Logo in the vid but a watchmaker friend of mine warned me that Rolex and Tudor get VERY prickly about their logo being used (even if it's free advertising for them and I don't make a penny out of it :P) So I begrudgingly removed it and put generic text over instead. So .. the film would've looked EXTRA classy were it not for my pre-emptive strike against getting an butt-slapping from Tudor.
I have 4 Tudor watches now. This Black bay Heritage. Also the BB GMT, a Glamour Double Date, and a new Steel and Gold Chronograph (black dial). All of which I will film at some point. And given enough time I'll even talk about my impressions and experience of this lovely watch.
In the meantime please do feel free to relax and zone out to this mesmerizing look at the Tudor Black Bay Heritage. A wonderful watch that you should totally own. Comes in 41mm and 39mm.
