My Comment on the Subject of Ethnic Studies at the Bob Woodson Panel Discussion.
Hey friends, This is a quick breakdown on why I believe it is so important that we stand against the very real threat of Liberated Ethnic Studies. I had a few minutes to say what I could have spoke on for a few hours. The threat is heavy but I was surrounded by some of the bravest and most compassionate truth tellers. Including none other that the Angelic Mr. Bob Woodson. I'm so excited in the month of November to bring you the stories of the People who serve at the Woodson Institute. They are nothing short of inspiring.
Alright here are my main points. If you can hear them please share them this is likely the shortest video I can make on the subject, I thought about a "cute version" but the subject is more serious than that.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Please like subscribe and comment.

1O Toxic Truths About Liberated Ethnic Studies.
Today Brooke Lynn and I speak about the most disturbing objectives we have found consistently in our research on the ethnic studies.
The goal is simply not to support the cultures that combine and celebrate American heritage. It is instead to teach students to hyper focus on "wrongs" so that they can then be activated into "change makers".
The question then is "why" and "who" and with very little searching we find it is the wealthiest capitalist in the world who are supporting the idea that we should dismantle capitalism, diminish the power of the family, and replace religion. It's all here in this episode. As well as a brief breakdown of a solution through programs that teach moral values, independence, and love of country. Someone said, "either way you are brainwashing" which might be true, as adults we have a responsibility to teach our kids to preserve good things. Ethnic Studies is quite the opposite.

Preserving Our Dignity with Alvin Guo Chinese Asylum Seeker and Underground Christian.
Feeling you could use a little dose of courage and inspiration today? My guest on this episode is Alvin Guo. He's been in America for only a couple of years and he shares the truth of what he's lived through in communist China From Forced Abortions to being told humans are just animals and you should belittle people in different classes than you.
Alvin is studying to be a teacher at BYU and what he sees there is disturbing to him and reminds him in some ways of what he ran from.
Alvin may never see his parents again, because they way he speaks about communism may land him in jail should he ever return.
I met Alvin as we judged a speech contest of young people on the value of the first amendment rights. His smile and joy is contagious, and that seems to me to be a part of what gives you strength and resilience to keep on moving forward even when the odds are so heavily stacked against you!
This video is appropriate for middle school and up, please share as these are the voices that can restore Dignity in pride in a generation being pulled into nihilism. My hope is that in the questions I asked would be the questions teens might ask in a sit down session about the subject of communism.
Alvin is a defector, Asylum Seeker and VP of Utah College Republicans. Though we do not discuss politics in this video.

The Truth About: Turning Students into Terrorist in K-12?
Hello Friends,
We are back at it after a brief moment to think about and grieve. This work we are doing is about getting people to stop teaching Children to "Other" each other. What we saw in Hamas is a result of people taught to hate and not see the individual.
This is the EXACT SAME TEACHING AS IN ETHNIC STUDIES.
They know what is wrong and so they hide what is happening. I encourage you to do your research. Look at the videos promoting ethnic studies then go watch Christine Sleeters presentation they always leave out the section that talks about turning kids into activists. But it is there!
Deb Filman is brilliant and offers incites both on education and as being Jewish. Cheering for Barbarainism
Hello Friends I hope you are well. Today I spoke with author and psychology professor Micheal Cross. Ive really been in a place of shock the past week looking at the situation in Israel and having that come home in how our own citizens are being taught to hate so completely.
Micheal is a professor of over 30 years experience and he has some real wisdom what it takes to destroy and rebuild monsters. (The only term I have for people who could bring themselves to do what they did to children.
Bringing it back to my particular focus, this is where Liberated Education takes us. There is a reason BLM and so many others made the statements they did and celebrating groups like this is in many of the new textbooks.
My hope is that these interviews will help shine a light but also leave viewers/ Listeners with hope and tools to help bring our students back from the terrible place they find themselves in!

Dismantling ES 38-41 Democratizing the classroom. When Everything is Political
covering pages 38-41 and what it means to democratizing a classroom.
The Purpose of education is changing. This is more of Paulo Friere's Methods that students and teachers are equal in the education process. I don't disagree that this can in some ways be a very illuminating experience but it depends strongly on the teachers intent. Are the questions guided to a particular outcome? The resources from Ethnic Studies say resoundingly YES. The objective is to move the kids toward creating a more socially "just" society, (Think BLM.)
Are books with heavy subjects bad or too much for kids to read? Can they be used correctly? incorrectly? How much emphasis is put on literacy rather than LIBERATION?
Well my friends, I need a break so I'll be back Monday to tackle more pages.
Remember, Knowledge is power! and also the Word Democracy is nowhere is our founding documents for a reason.
Also, yes a teacher was eaten during Mao's cultural revolution, I was not just making that up. If you want to know the true story check out my interview with Qiru Walder.

Dismantling Ethnic Studies - Getting People To Swallow the Turd
Paulo Freire like his greatly admired Karl Marx encouraged people to look for systems of oppression, see their role and to dismantle the systems? He wanted people to look through a lens that is always critical which seems to us, robs a person and especially a young person of joy.
Even so he is referenced multiple times in the Ethnic Studies model policy. Schools are embracing his ways without even recognizing who he is. It's a shift in a culture that half of society finds repulsive but yet is being forced down our throats.
Today we explore why some educators might swallow and the teach something so unpleasant. If you are following along this is page 30-38 in the California Model policy.
We reference James Lindsays New Discources Channel and these are the videos.

Ethnic Studies Continued -Straight From the Horses Mouth
Hey Friends, We did this live and it was a little blotchy so I'm removing that and putting this one up. We went through a presentation of Christine Sleeters where she speaks candidly about the "benefits" of ethnic studies.
In order for ethnic studies to be successful she urges is must be guided by Critical Race Theory, a primary goal is that they instill "Criticality" in students and teach them how they are oppressed due to systems of Capitalism.
it really is as simple as this: If you appreciate this country and the constitution. Ethnic Studies has no place.

Ethnic Studies what Is Excellence what It's Not
Today we jumped off the script and just discussed where Liberated Ethnic Studies will head.
The thing to remember is that everything under the sun has been done before. This is textbook division. I recently watched the FAIR presentation about teaching hate in the classroom, And no matter the argument it's pretty clear that that's what is happening. First for the "Cis" gender white christian man, and then who is next.
Why the constant narrative that black youth are savage or foolish? Why the normalization? why the pretense that this is JOY?
Excellence for anyone come from responsibility and consequence and being learned.
We also speak a little about how to heal a broken social group and if that's necessary
Please Like share and subscribe. I won't be posting more this week because I'll be at a festival telling the story of Harriet Tubman. So make sure you are SUBSCRIBED to catch us next week. as we return to the text of the California Model Ethnic Studies Policy.

Carob Marcelle Dismantling The Ethnic Studies Policy- The Good The Bad and the Toxic
Continuing on today we speak the things we like- Learning from the culturally diverse populations, without looking through the lens of oppression. Including the hard things. We speak about the offensiveness of colonizing culture to fit an agenda. And we speak to former teacher turned activist Tammy Rae McMahon-Gorans about her experiences as a teacher in California just starting to learn about the agenda in California.
We are doing our best to dismantle and bring truth by going through every paragraph in the ethnic studies model policy. We encourage you to listen and share! and subscribe. We'll be back tomorrow!

How Marxism works and spreads in our schools.
We are back and today we are discussing how marxism got into k-12. We discuss how it often takes a small truth and wraps it in a lie. Julie Behling author of Beneath Sheets Clothing takes the lead and breaks down marxism simply. We discuss how empathy and yes guilt play a part in allowing it near our children and what that means.
Empathy and weaponized kindness play a huge part in letting it get a foothold. We also talk about how we remain brave. Hint Marxism is a RAW DEAL for our kids.

Speaking with Nicholeen Peck the Fragility Crisis
Nicoleen Peck is the foster parent I wish I would have had. She doesn't coddle and yet she loves fiercely.
I decided to take a day off from discussing all that evil people do to look at what good people do and Nicholeen was the perfect person to speak with! Renowned speaker author and parent educator Nicholeen came to the forefront when featured on the show Worlds Strictest Parents.
I watched it when I was much younger and remember thinking I wish I had someone who cared like that. We are similar in that we feel hard for those suffering and we want to see them whole. But we also recognize the direction our country is taking in many ways does more harm than good.
So we decided to have an honest conversation about what can be done. and it starts not in the schools but in the home.
More than once the tears ran down my cheek as she shared both heart and wisdom. I hope you'll take the time to listen and share.
Nicholeen has a thriving website and YouTube channel if you find her inspiring please take a look!

Dismantling Ethnic Studies In K-12 #3 Liberation As an Objective.
As we continue to make our way through the California Ethnic Studies model Policy, we are alarmed to find they have taken inspiration from radicals of the 1960's. In particular events at Berkley involving violence, riots and demands.
We open with Lynn speaking both about growing up in California, and at teaching what would today be considered ethnic studies in what was a positive way that covered the experiences of many diverse groups and didn't focus on malice.
Brooke then takes a deep dive in the 1960s San Francisco riots and Julie brings us back to the endgame, which is to destroy the west and use our kids to do so.
All of the material is available here if you'd like to view it for yourself
Please don't fall into the trap of "well that's crazy California" Utahs ethnic studies begin next year and then the goal is to make them a national standard.

Carob Marcelle Dismantling Ethnic Studies Episode #3 with panel
My friends and I discuss the California Model Policy for Ethnic Studies. We are a diverse group of parents and educators who are concerned about activism and oppression being taught to K-12 students in the name of Cultural studies.
We have decided to go line by line and discuss what's actually in the curriculum. Rather than just trust that it's about our best interest. None of us are against teaching about cultures and diversity but we are all asking the question "why is there only unity in oppression.
Dismantling Ethnic Studies-
Ethnic Studies like so much else has such a warm and welcoming name but do you know what's behind it? Some of my very informed friends and I have decided to peak behind the curtain and take a look. We are going page by page through the California Model Policy as it's the first to be released.
It's very likely that after Californias has started they will go national and we know that is the case as our governor has already appointed an ethnic studies commission.
If you've seen my videos. You know where I stand, I'm not afraid of difficult conversations nor am I afraid to speak about race. But I do stand up when I see something wrong and in this sample there is plenty! We found it to be heavily biased and found ourselves asking what does climate change gender studdies and SEL hav to do about learning and respecting culture?
Why is there a wheel of privilege? Does this help or harm our biracial families? and that's just the beginning.
I do appologize for my friends microphone we are not technology experts, but she's getting that looked at. Please like share and consider subscribing. This project is about helping parents protect their children and the more who hear it the better!

Positive Patriarchy -A Conversation with Paris Cluff
Today I'm continuing my conversation with fathers. Paris is a father of 5 dedicated to traditional principals. His love for his family is evident in word and deed. and it was inspirational to speak with him.
Paris hosts two podcasts @FinancialSelfReliance and @PrepperTalkRadio I met him as one of the few fathers stepping into the school indoctrination battle.
I think Paris shows us a wonderful example of what fathers can be and often are, despite what society would have us believe. Paris is a man of faith and his LDS values are evident in everything he shares but there are some things about universal goodness that I think everyone can benefit from hearing! It was an absolute pleasure speaking with him and the other dads for this project. I hope you will listen and share!

Choosing Homeschool to Protect Your Kids with Natalie Cline and Monica Wilbur.
Hello friends this month I'm speaking to people who are choosing to or are involved with the homeschooling movement. Personally I've come to believe our situation is desperate and the lack of knowledge I see in the world concerns me greatly. Monica and Natalie created the website www.higherground.work To expose and explain how our children's hearts and minds are being sold to the highest bidder. How big tech plays an influence on what and how our kids are learning and how schools are becoming change agents to create a loyalty to the STATE.
Natalie is currently on the Utah State school board and I have interviewed her before. (It must be stated that what's said here is her opinion as a citizen and not shared by the school board.)and Monica is her teammate as well as a former high school teacher.
I highly recommend checking out their website.

I also share a little of my personal experience with bigotry, and confess to being a bit of a diva. :)
Anyway, as I said on twitter. Yesterday was rough for people who inherently have low expectations.
