Sean Feucht: "Only Christians Should be Making Laws" Is Religious Extremism becoming mainstream?
Sean Feucht, religious activist, musician and, apparently, political tool for the right, declared to a large group of Christians at the Sheridan Church in Tulsa, OK that only Christians should write laws, because, well ... [reasons].
Then, failed Senate-candidate Jackson Lahmeyer came out, victimized himself and supported the rhetoric posed by Sean.
These people need to stay in their lane and write their own rules and leave the rest of us freedom-loving Americans to our own devices.

McCurtain County Commissioner and Sheriff Recording Update: Turns Out, they were in Quorum!
It turns out that another Commissioner, Robert Beck was present and taking part in the discussion with Clardy & Manning, which would constitute a quorum in the county, thus making the recording 100% legal given that the meeting itself was supposed to be open to the public.
That's great news and I hope they don't just throw the book at those fellas, but I hope they throw the whole library at them!

McCurtain County Commissioner and Sheriff Recording: Was it Obtained Legally? Joey Senat says yes!
McCurtain County Commissioner Mark Jennings, Sheriff Kevin Clardy, and Sheriff's Capt. Alicia Manning were caught saying some vile, hateful, and racist things. Another was also in the conversation but I have yet to hear any audio from that person who is Jail Admin, Larry Hendrix.
But the manner in which the recording was obtained appears to be questionable, at the very least, if not downright illegal.
I personally believe the recordings were obtained illegally, based on the statutes, but Joey Senat, Professor of Journalism, claims it's perfectly legal to leave your recording device behind hoping to "catch" someone speaking, despite not being present.
While it may end up being true that a court will rule that this is legal, it cannot be considered ethical in any way. If we say this is acceptable "journalism," then imagine how many recording devices would be left behind on purpose to try and catch someone saying something they can later capitalize from.

The Owasso Public School District banned me after expressing discontent with their unwillingness to change their policy for selecting library materials.
I sued them in Federal Court, won both a TRO and Preliminary Injunction, then settled with them after they finally changed their policy to prohibit the inclusion of graphic, sexual content within the school's library.
