As a part of Casey's ongoing training, I spent many miles driving horses for our family's carriage company. I wanted to train Casey to drive, pull a sled, or some kind of cart. I had the opportunity to use an indoor arena not far from my home. This video is the start of the project. We played for about 3 hours, and by the end of our time, Casey was ground driving beautifully with lots of hope for the future.

Casey loved to make toys out of everything he could get in his mouth from the very beginning.

Casey was just a wee one in 1999. For some reason, I don't know now why. But I had left him outside for the night well the next morning I could not find him I went into panic mode. Searching high and low, and that was before cameras, so I couldn't tell which way you went.

I often put Casey out in his field to play while I was mowing outside the fence of his pasture. This day my aunt was there and captured baby Casey running and playing alongside the mower.

All moms know getting their kiddo up from a nap is very hard. Baby sleepy horses are no different, especially on a warm sunny afternoon.

Because Casey was an orphan, I raised him on mares milk replacement. Casey always looked forward to seeing his red milk bucket coming his way.

Baby Casey would always search for the one person that made his small world complete.
