Noisy-Noisy Strife
Stop It! Why so much noisy, chaotic bickering in our family, schools, churches, community, states, nations??? Hmmmmm think about it… Have you ever lived in such a time where so many people have such a short temper? Noisy-Noisy backbiting people. Stop the noise. How? It begins getting back to our roots… remember this:
By the seventh day, God had completed creating his masterpiece, so on the seventh day, he rested from all his work. So God blessed the seventh day and made it sacred, because on it, he paused to rest from all his work of creation. Genesis 2:2-3 ( https://www.bible.com/bible/1849/GEN.2.2-3 )
We were created to have downtime! Resting our soul is a need that is wired into our DNA. We become noisy-noisy, strife filled people when our soul is exhausted, it is a part of our human condition that is truly out of control… noisy-noisy soul snapping going on in families and in all people to people contact throughout our day in our cultural chaos.
When the noisy-noisy strife continues, it just piles on our aggravated soul. Then comes the opinions, lots of opinions, every one has them our media is full, absolutely full of scripted assumption, speculation, presupposition, opinionated lies, lies, lies, opinions flying making everything so noisy and there is no soul rest… from the deception of the enemy of our soul and people are aggravated and opinionated and wildly weary soul and that creates a loud cultural chaos that eats away at every possible unity between us, keeping us noisy-noisy strife filled and unhappy and very soul fractionated people and cultural chaos grows.
Soul rest, sabbath rest, just rest at all, is missing, from our society along with God’s ways God’s way, truth and life. We are soul exhausted people. The truth is, without God, we are not good, we have no compassion, no grace, no mercy, no forgiveness, just a bunch of noisy-noisy strife filled, self centered people, serving no power higher than self, pointing away all of their self inadequacies by blaming other people and leaving our homes, communities, nations and societies. Lame. Be-LAME. (https://www.bible.com/bible/1849/PSA.31.19-21) We need God, we need time with Him, alone. He is our soul rest, the quiet to our noisy-noisy strife.
We need soul rest, it is written in our DNA and we can’t ignore this need any longer. I dare you to try it, soul rest. Step outside of the noisy-noisy for a moment. Try it, even if you have to get a bit radical to get some soul peace. Shut yourself in your closet, sit on the ground and lift your soul to God, make that heart to heart connection with God, and rest in His peace even if it is for a couple of seconds, you will feel His peace,(https://www.bible.com/bible/1849/PHP.4.4-9) it will rest your soul. I am telling you… that once you try it, you will crave it, soul rest, which kicks the noisy-noisy out of your soul and leaves you with a peaceful soul.
Heart to heart with God, spirit to Spirit with God, is like a shout of His voice, Peace Be Still! (https://www.bible.com/bible/116/MRK.4.37-39) Do not underestimate the value of this vital-vertical God connection in times such as these. We take some time apart from the noisy-noisy, where people factions of strife and disunity are fractioning our soul into pieces. We give permission for no one to speak into our heart by God, for that moment, He says: Peace Be Still. Our Soul Knows Rest. The chaos of noisy-noisy cultural combat between fractions is silenced as unity between God and us prevails. Awwwww that precious soul rest in a noisy-noisy culture is like better than anything we could ever hope for or imagine.
In our noisy-noisy culture, we can fix our strife saturated soul, by that moment of heart to heart connection with God, that strong vital-vertical relationship starts to develop and our DNA roars with joy as the stillness we were created to need in our soul, disrupts the chaos of confusion with the voice of God that is strong in truth and God’s joy strengthens our inner spiritual soul. Do you realize that all the deception that we take in all day long through opinionated people who think they know what they don’t know and are shoving it down our throats, this aggravation of our soul, is instantly repealed by one moment alone with God and His truth. Alone with God, heart to Heart with God, He speaks peace be still, (https://www.bible.com/bible/116/MRK.4.37-39 ) SILENCE… He quiets the enemy of our soul with His peace.
So yes, we can stop being a part of the fractionated, strife-filled cultural chaos by just taking those moments we were created for, those heart to heart connections with our God and His way, truth and life. Noisy-Noisy no longer affects us as we guard our hearts with God’s peace and truth. We become less and less a part of the fractionated opinions as we walk in peace and truth, one person at a time… back to their roots, back to what we were created to be God’s wholly-holy His, led by His peace.
Say NO to a noisy-noisy, fractionated, self-driven, strife filled soul… say YES to giving God some heart to heart time in your life, some down time filled with God time, this is what we were created for, it is in our DNA and we need to get back to it… stop the noisy-noisy soul strife and know His peace.

Dunamis Integrity
The Dunamis of God is marvelously-mightily-miraculous. Everyday God maintains our strength with His Dunamis power. This strength of God is found in the inner spiritual core of every single believer of Jesus Christ, this inherent power that resides in God as a part of His nature. It is pretty obvious to those of us who know Jesus Christ personally, as our Lord, that we do not live being a person of integrity with our own strength, or by our own will power, it is not by our might, nor by our power but by the Holy Spirit of God’s might within us. Dunamis Integrity!
With our culture in the chaos it is in, our soul can be drained so easily, we need to guard our hearts with all diligence, there is strength in the living Word of God. Being Word Strong is so easy, it is just our choice to be so. Why easy? Because the Word of God is available to us in so many ways could be songs, psalms, teachings, our bible, podcasts, videos, movies, studies and so on… But then the best part is that we can open our lives and hearts wide to that vital-vertical relationship with the Living Word of God, Jesus Christ. We are not alone, we are not without the renewing strength of God. God is masterful at His Advocacy of care and equipping us with every thing we need to succeed in this life.
The Word “Dunamis” was just dropped into my spirit as my new point of growth. I am studying and learning about the strength of God in me and how to consistently walk in His strength and not mine. I find that when I kindle my own fire and walk by the light of a man-made fire that it flames out. God’s light is not like that. It is never extinguished by anything.
Dunamis strength helps us to make strong moral choices in times when morality is at an all time low. We can make great moral choices even in the midst of our cultural confusion and chaos. The choices I make are not my own, the strength to be a person of integrity comes from God’s Will and power in me, helping me to be a person of integrity.
We can be people of integrity through the strength of our God. Integrity opens up our relationship with one another to a purity of righteousness with Jesus at the center of all of our relationships. The Gospel, God’s Word is transformative for all relationships. God’s Dunamis power is transforming and strengthening us daily, creating in us a passionate desire to be people of integrity. We are loved by a God Who maintains our strength.
Dunamis Integrity happens when we cling to God and dig our life roots deeply in God and He empowers our self control, navigating us in a godly direction. We no longer live in that area of mediocrity where we are reacting emotionally, fleshing out by way of our human condition. No, we can respond in a self-controlled way, that is strong, moral, and right, and walk in mighty strength and wonderful works of godliness.
Yes, Dunamis Integrity is the power of God within us, which is activated by the Living Word of God as it is effecting our decisions, where we are able to live, and move, and have our being in Christ Jesus’ way, truth and life. When the Dunamis power of God is working in our lives it will produce the integrity of the holiness of God. Even if we are weakened by our situations, the Dunamis Integrity of God can strengthen us and we can make good choices, the first time.
There is no reason why we can’t stay heart to heart with God and all of us be people of integrity. God is always with us. His power always available to us. Jesus alive in us, in that right living kind of way is a sweet result of Dunamis Integrity. A person of integrity and a relationship based on integrity, and good moral choices is a beautiful thing.
God shows us His way of walking in integrity, it is doing what is just, being kind and merciful and acting with self-controlled humility:
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? [Deut. 10:12, 13.] Micah 6:8
God is able to empower us to be people of integrity:
Ephesians 3:20–21: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
Our self-controlled integrity is not mediocre in fleshout emotional reaction, we respond in the power of God. We are empowered by God, and it is in this Dunamis Integrity, that the mediocre reaction of the flesh is purposefully outlawed by the power of Christ in us, Dunamis Power, doing immeasurably more than we could have hope for or imagined, this Dunamis power of God at work within us, from every moment into every choice, for our good and for bringing Him glory.
We can be Empowered by God to be people of Dunamis Integrity within the spiritual renewal that takes place in our daily, vital vertical relationship with God. Let be and let God Empower you today with HIs Dumamis Integrity.

Protect Our Children
🙏These are crazy unpredictable times and we as adults have trouble wrapping our minds around the depravity of people and how far the human condition is falling. But we know, with out DOUBT, that our children are in danger body, soul and spirit. We ask our Lord God to stand in front of them so no enemy can get to them, we ask for His Personal protection as their body guard, mind guard and soul guard. We pray no weapon formed against our children and young adults will prosper in Jesus name. Amen.
🙏Father God, we love our children that You have given us. We pray for Your Hand of protection over them as they go to school, all the children, ours, our grandchildren and all children over the world. Thwart every evil intention over our children. Send Your warring angels to stand in front of them and behind them and protect them from the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper.
🙏Protect our children from the schemes of the enemy and plan of the enemy to place confusion in them about their gender. Thwart every evil goal the enemy has and is using to bring confusion about the God given gender of our children. Thwart every evil plan that the enemy is using against our children to cause them to be confused. Protect our children from this deceit that is from the pit of hell. STOP the voice of the enemy in our schools and let truth be heard. Make way for truth to be heard in every school around the world and completely cut off the voice of evil deceit.
🙏Give children discernment, help them not to favor or follow after deceit, but favor and follow after the truth. Jesus we call upon You to protect our children this school year, we ask that you would STOP the Voice of those who are hell bent to destroy our children, mess with our children, with confusing deceit. STOP the voice of the enemy to our children and young adults and exchange it for the truth of Your Word in Jesus name. Jesus name above ALL names! Deliver our children from evil and cause them to follow after You, Jesus to desire to know You, to be saved by You. Amen!

Stress Rut
You can be moving forward in life and things are going well and then all of a sudden… wow… where did that come from??? I like the game of golf, it relaxes me, it gives me a “time out” from life’s stress ruts! What is a stress rut? Well, it is all about me, creating a rut out of a stressful situation by overthinking it, by trying to fix it until I am completely exhausted, and by not trusting God! Golf and life are similar!
Life can be like a game of golf. Sometimes we have those perfect shots and we are happy and celebrating and then we get to the next hole and we send one right into the lake. We think: Where did that bad drive come from? I was doing so well! Stroke Lost! Ball Lost! Aggravated Attitude Picked Up!
We can be doing things so perfectly and then all of a sudden “bam” that is ugly. Where did that come from? We have these stressful times and we start focusing on them exercising our mind by running bad thoughts over and over in them, until we are exhausted and stressed out. We have created a stress rut in our mind. This is the time to shake things up. Do something different, take your mind off of the situation.
We can’t fix it. We are not the Fixer, God is the Fixer. Do you want to have a good shot at life? Let go and let God. Let go of the stress, all those things you are trying to fix. We can’t live life perfectly all the time. Ask any golfer if they have ever had a bad chip or a bad putt, or a bad drive! They all have. Life is not always perfect, and neither is our golf drive and we know that when we hear that “kerplunk” as we hit the ball right into the water. That ball is gone! It is okay, we will get another try to make it better, and before you are done playing, you probably will find another ball somewhere that was lost by someone else. This hole may have ended with too many strokes above par, but the next hole could be a bogey. Life is like that.
1 God, 1 Purpose, 1 Day At A Time! Don’t get yourself in a stress rut because you made a bad iron shot and created a divot and the ball went no where. Take a deep breath, let God calm you down before you take that next shot and do the same thing again. Shake Things Up! Let go and let God. Relax Your Grip! Time Out! Attitude Check! Breathe in God, breathe out bad attitudes and may your next golf drive be perfect. God bless you. PS… Remember we are imperfectly-perfect, yet always loved by a perfect God.

Believe God?
We can be so moved by the beauty of God’s creation as our God given common sense comes alive in us and we know that there is a God. I found the most beautiful shell the other day and I was in Awe of the way it was created with such intricate design, and as I held that big beautiful shell, I was in Awe of the Creator God. Yes, there are things we see and experience that definitely point us to the reality of truth that there is a God.
So, we are halfway there to the place where God wants us to be. We believe in God, but do we believe Him? I am thinking God desires for both of those two decisions which would make for a wholly-holy belief in Him.
The first one is easy, there is so much that we can’t look away from, so much that says there is a God who has created and who is maintaining our world day by day. The second one, not so much as easy as the first. The second one is do we “believe Him” We can believe God, but do we believe Him. Do we trust what God says to be true?
God’s Word is powerful, nothing has stopped it. The famous scripture of course is John 3:16: “For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”
What about that next step? Have you taken it? Do you say, Yes, Lord, I believe, and Yes Lord I believe You, what You have said. I believe that what You have said will come to pass. I believe You, Jesus, I believe You and I trust everything you say, I wholly-holy love You and I believe you.
It seems like when we take one step towards God and in belief embrace Him and then we take that second step, out into the deep and we say, I believe you God, I believe every word You have spoken and I believe You still speak today. When we have taken both those steps and wholly-holy believe in God, our lives are so amazingly navigated by God’s Holy Spirit, there is great peace in our soul that is not dependent upon our circumstances but resting upon our faith and our belief. We believe God is F.I.T. to sit on the throne of our lives because we know and trust that He is: Faithful, Infinite and Trustworthy. Begin Well ~ End Well
Life can be busy, busy, busy… do you want to have a winning life in a chaotic culture? It is kind of hard to do when we find ourselves in a frenzy of life happenings and realize we have put way too much on our life plate. I am thinking, we can juggle well if we start well and end well. It is that old powerful saying: I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. That sounds good, but what about practically applying it, what about our reality of truth?
The reality of truth for me plays out with a really good start to my day. We can imagine that so many of us have so many opinions on how this shakes out, but I think only ONE truly holds the power to having a day where you are faithfully successful. Drum roll please… and that is the GOD of the Universe. What?!! Yes, you heard that right. The best start, the best way to begin your day well, is all contained in a bow. Who do you bow too? To begin each day well, we bow our lives to God. Our first step out, is down, bowing our hearts, our lives before God.
It is good to bow before God and pray: “God, increase in me, and all things human nature, decrease”. Yielding our lives to God first thing every day, acknowledging Him, Who He is, and honoring, respecting and reverencing our Awe GOD, starts our day well. We have just made a heart to heart connection with the most powerful, wonderful, loving God in this entire universe! Now we can step out and go forward in the strength and love of Jesus Christ. Yes, anything is possible when you begin well!
Oh, yes, I forgot the second part, ending well. Did you know that gratitude is the pathway to peace? We all love to lay our heads down and sleep in peace. Does that always happen. No. Not if we don’t set it up for peace to flow unencumbered by the situations of our day. The best way to end our day well is by taking a knee before God and bowing our hearts in gratefulness, recounting all the things He did for us in our day, thanking Him and giving Him the glory for all He has done. Then there are those pesky things that are still very unsettled, unreconciled, as we head to bed at night. The best thing to do with them is put them in God’s hands, and all the expectations tied to them, in the palm of His hand, let be, be still and know He is God and rest peacefully.

I THINK I Know
What do you think you know!? Do you think we know what we “think we know”! Assumptions really stink, they reek of deception and deceiving. Do we actually believe that an assumption is true. Do you really know it? You speak like you know, but do you truly know? What do you know? Think on it! That is a simple question. Now add this: What do you “absolutely” know, that makes it more detailed.
What are you stepping out on? Is it something you know? Or is it something you “think you know”! Stepping out on something that you think you know is a dangerous way to walk on a narrow path. What is it you “think you know”? Think about it!! It could be like stepping out on slippery mud and sinking in.
Do you think you can know another person’s motive? I don’t! I think so many assumptions are made about other people’s motives and the motive of another person is something we can’t truly, absolutely know.
A lot of people judge people and condemn people on what they think they know. When you “think you know” someone else’s motive, you really can’t know that. Only God can. Assuming what another person’s motive is, this is the enemies playground and he loves stirring up strife between people by using this scheming tactic of telling us what their motive is. The enemy can’t know that, we can’t know that, only God can know a person’s motive.
God is the source of all knowledge and we human beings do not know what we think we know. The more we get this godly wisdom in our hearts, the less we will wrongly judge other people, and the less we will condemn people on assumptions, making an ASS out of you and me as we falsely accuse another person based on what we can’t truly know.
We don’t know what we truly think we know. God knows. So let’s make a point of walking out of this godly wisdom and less and less will we condemning others for things they have not done. Yes, we don’t know what we think we know, but God knows. God is our best source of knowledge, discernment and truth. Turn To God!

Faith And Golf
Life is challenging. Yes? No!? I say Yes! Golf is also challenging but a lot of fun! Yes?! No!? The focus is key for faith and golf. Keeping your focus on Jesus, like keeping your eye on the ball when you swing through on your drive. Is faith like golf? Hmmmmm. You have to be positioned right for the ball to go in the right direction. We swing, not beating the air with our faith, but with the truth which makes a perfect impact as we swing through. Uncanny how golf and faith have some intertwining wisdom. We need to stay positioned underneath the rulership of God’s love, or we will find ourselves out in the rough and not on the fairway. If we hit in front of the ball, we leave a digit and have a miss stroke where the ball doesn’t go very far. The same with faith.
Yes, golf teaches me a lot about my faith and my faith teaches me a lot about my golf game. No, I am not kidding. For real!!! We learn to use the tools God has given us, like in golf, picking the right club for the right time. If you have a shot over water, and you pick up your head, you will end up in the drink! Stay focused on Jesus and we won’t end up with our faith underwater like Peter did when He took his eyes off of Jesus and sank.
Lots of challenges. Keep your focus on Jesus, keep your head down, press forward and swing through. Always be waiting on the Lord to show you the direction you need to take and the right club to get there with as little as many swings as possible. Be positioned in Jesus and make a good impact. Trying to putt into that little hole, you can’t take a broad path, you have to take a narrow path when you are a Christian. Keep your eyes on Jesus, tee up, firmly plant your feet in the Word of God, make a smooth swing, without compromising your faith, and swing through with your thumbs up to Jesus.

Omnipresent Comfort
We have the Omnipresent Comfort of God with us always and forever… How about that?!!! Take that into your thoughts and think on that for a while… muse on it… roll it over and over in your mind.
We have strong wills, and we think we are enough for the all of our everything. We try to fix everything in our life, it becomes all about us and what we can do. Now that is an understatement. Our wills are so bucked up because of pride that the comfort of God is walled out. How sad is that?
Why do we shut God out? He is the most incredible comfort we could ever know. He is a safe place of stability, hope that endures through all cultural chaos. The reality of truth is that we, human beings, in our human condition don’t want to admit that we are weak, we want to be strong, we don’t want look weak. We can handle it. We don’t need God. Hmmmmm crash and burn is next…
There are times where we are so underneath things because we have tried so hard to be strong that a feather could knock us off our feet. God is here, right now to infuse us with His strength. God maintains our strength daily, all we have to do is ask Him. We have the Armor of God, which was His Armor that He has gifted us with: Read Ephesians 6 for that truth!
Lord give us the courage to admit we need You, without that kind of courage to go agains the grain of the culture which says: We should be strong, our faith will be weak. We will wallow in our sorrows until they overtake us. Kind of sad isn’t it when the Omnipresent Comfort of God is always available to us.
Father God give us courage to call out to You, to say: I am weak Jesus, You are strong in me, Your Dunamis comfort, strong and mighty, strengthening, stabilizing. Strengthen us Jesus, comfort us with Your power that infuses our weakness and makes us strong in You.

Care Unlimited
There is so much to love about our God! He does care for us well in that unlimited way of His. He is not limited in His care for us because He knows us well. He designed our shape, so that means His care for us is unlimited care. He doesn’t give us more than what we can handle. He knows us! His Care is Care Unlimited! Awe-GOD!
God knows what we can handle. I am sure you all know that God wants us to “grow through” this life. I have done some growing! How about you? In order to grow, sometimes we need to be stretched in that way we come face to face with our weakness, our inabilities, and our human condition. These times can make us a bit soul weary, yet we can trust that God knows how far He can push us in our growth seasons, and we can trust in His Unlimited Care for us.
Care Unlimited! God deeply cares for us, therefore growing through life should not be as scary as we make it out to be. God will not leave us in our growth seasons, He will be with us as we grow through hard times. Sometimes we feel that we can’t take another day of soul rain. Ever felt that way. I can’t take another day of this! God knows our limits. God cares.
Sometimes when we are at our “wits end” God will give us a break in the trial, and we know it is Him, adding some light in the darkness of our trying time we find ourselves in. God wants us to grow, He wants us to be more like His character, and some times that takes some needed character building growth. But, when we feel we can’t take another day of growing through the hard situation we are in, God steps in and gives us that breakthrough in the caring comfort that He is famous for, it is Care Unlimited.
God knows what we can handle and He will break into our chaos with His peace, and shatter the darkness with His incredible light of revelation. When we don’t feel like we can handle another moment, God intervenes with His peace and care, and we feel soul rest. I love that about God’s Unlimited Care, He knows what I can handle. He knows me intimately! He knows me more than anyone else will ever know me, and He knows how to comfort me at the absolutely perfect time. He is awesome!
I don’t like those hard “growing through” seasons, but I don’t mind them so much because I know God will be with me with His unlimited care! God Is Not Done
We have so many grandiose expectations for how we “think” our life should turn out. When you look at your life right where you are right now, does it look like anything you thought it would look like? I know mine doesn’t, there are things in my life I never imagined I would be growing through, never thought my life would go that way. But, in relationship with God, things are not as they seem. Wait For It! God’s Not Done
What we see now, isn’t how it will end. God has an endgame in mind. It is good for us not to presume on God’s Will by what we “see” in our life. Faith isn’t about what is seen, it is about believing in the unseen. We may not have written our life story this way, but He does things in unconventional ways, but they always have a good endgame.
So if things are not going the way you planned for your life, the best thing to do is lean into God’s Sovereign Sway. The worst thing to do is buck up your will against God’s Will, that won’t work out so well. Believe me. I know. What is happening right now is for our best and His glory, it may not feel that way, but it is true.
Our plans are not His, our way is not His. It is hard to wrap our mind around God’s methods of writing our life story. But… bucking up our will against God’s will, does nothing for us, just makes things harder. God’s will is going to be done.
Could it be that what is happening right now is for our best and His glory. It may not feel that way, but things are never about how they feel. Feelings are fickle, but God is not. God is faithful, God is trustworthy and if we look back on our lives, we see that handiwork of His good and glory. We can trust God with our lives, we can trust Him with the pen. God is writing a fantastic story, He is just not done yet. Let God Work. The Best Is Yet To Come! God bless ya.

The Dynamo Is Our Dunamis
Our Dynamo, Jesus Christ, Is Our Dunamis. He has established us in His Presence, Power, Provision, Purpose and strength. When you know Jesus, heart to heart, you are never truly alone in the storms of life. We have many sunshiny happy days, but sometimes those pesky life storms hit us hard as the enemy is hoping to disturb our peaceful days. What now? Well… it isn't our strength, will, and might that rises up in us, it is HIS, that resurrection power of Jesus Christ, that is in you when you accept Him into your heart. Jesus, The Dynamo Is Our Dunamis, and uses us to do some pretty incredible things. Yet this is not our life story, to make us famous, to get us liked by the big crowds, BUT, it is HIS story, His fame, for His glory.
Jesus, His dynamo story is written in us, and through us in His Dunamis power. Once we think it is our story, that is when the fire flames out, and ashes remain. Yet, when we absolutely know and acknowledge Him in all of our ways, telling others that God, He is writing His story in us, that is when the light never flames out, the flame, the enfuego passion of God, our Dynamo is our Dunamis, and our life is empowered for all eternity and nothing extinguishes its light and power.
“Strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.” Colossians 1: 11-12
The clouds can roll in, the life storms can thunder, the winds can try to destroy us, but we still stand, not because of our might, not because of our power, not because of our wisdom, but because of Jesus, by the power, strength and wisdom of the navigation of His Holy Spirit in us, we continue to fight the good fight of faith, we believe in Jesus, we believe Jesus, the only ONE, Who can empower us, strengthen us, love us in that way where the light of His life within us, never diminishes, the fire never flames out.
The Dynamo Is Our Dunamis. YES! Jesus maintains our strength deep within our inner spiritual core, He is the power source of our inner light, He is the all of our everything, He is our enough.
How about you? Is Jesus enough? When you lie in a heap on the ground after you have given it your all and it wasn’t enough, you failed, and you don’t have the will power to get up, will you take the hand of Almighty God and arise in His power and might? The Dynamos Is Our Dunamis!

I love the comfort of God! What an amazing gift God’s comfort is for us, it is care unlimited, full and abundantly soul saturated in us in that Omnipresent way of His as He makes all things so personal and He is always with us and that is very comforting in times such as these to have an encourager Who is speaking positively into our lives at all times. The comfort of God is masterful in its strength, as He is magnificent as He daily maintains our strength by comforting us with His strength infused into our weakness. When our soul is in a windstorm of anxiety, we are freed from fear as the comfort of God envelops us with His truth. Sometimes we feel so under it all and the comfort of God is our relief. Always On Par?
Are you always on par? I try to be. Not because I want to be perfect, but because I love God and that love impassions me to obey Him as perfectly as my human condition allows me. How about you? Do you obey out of your will power, or out of your worship relationship with God? Talking about “par” makes me think about my favorite game, golf.
So many people play golf and a lot of them really love this game, like I do. I would love to play “par” golf. But most of the time I don’t, because there are so many variables. The drive, the iron shots, the chipping, and the putting. How can you be perfect in all these things all the time? Some people are! I am not one of those who are perfect all the time. You have to get all four of those variables working good together to get a par, or even maybe a hole in one! I usually play bogey ball! I am usually one or two over par.
The cool thing is that even though there are times I am playing over par, not perfectly, I know I am perfectly loved by God. I may not live life in perfect harmony with everyone in my life at all times, but I have been on par for most of it.
Do people judge your whole life by one bad putt that causes you to miss par? Do they say? What a bad golfer! Why is it that people expect you to always be on par, when they are not? Why is it when you are not always on par, they won’t play with you? It is sad that the very people who can’t play up to par, will withdraw from others, put up boundaries to keep you off the course they play, because you missed a putt for par. Why is that? Could it be because they don’t know how to love unconditionally? Could it be that they need to be in control of who plays their life course with them? Could it be that they have hidden motives that no one sees but God.
Thankfully God does see all. Thankfully God knows all. Thankfully God still wants to play on the course with the ones other’s betray and reject. This is how you play on par in the course of life, you do what Jesus did and love like He loved. Yes, the game of golf teaches us much, but mostly teaches us to desire to play below par just like Jesus did.
Golf seems to parallel life sometimes in our life story. God likes to teach me about the game of life sometimes through the principles of the game of golf. I want to play at the level of “par” in other words, I want to finish this day and every day well. It is good when we serve our God first, with the goal of serving His Kingdom first, one day at a time. So today, if you play, I hope you finish well, below par!
What do we need to finish on “par”? What do we need to finish well? Well, it is not about what we can do. Can anyone have a perfect life story, play a perfect round of golf? In all the different kinds of life situations that can pop up, can we play well? Can we have the perfect drive, the perfect chip the perfect putt all the time? From experience, I can say no, we can’t. Can we make the right choice from every moment to every choice, my experience in this says, no.
Everyone wants to live at par and to do that we need to be connected heart to heart with with God. God doesn’t expect a par out of us every single time, He wants us us to depend on Him. When I put things in God’s Hands and work out our life with His strength, power and wisdom, we live at par and we finish well. Independent from God, we don’t do as well, as we do when we are being navigated by God’s Holy Spirit. It is great to be in that place where we are positioned underneath the rulership of God’s love, and we live our lives at par and above.
I don’t know any golfer who has never had a bad shot or a bad game, likewise in life we have bad days, we flesh out, and make choices that are not up to par. But that is what is so great about our God, He forgives, corrects our course, and gives us a new day to play again. He doesn’t forsake us or betray us, He invites us to play again. Then, we will definitely play better, probably below par because we have learned from the Master, and yielded to the direction, power, and strength of the only One Who has never not made par.
So get out there and swing well, believe in the power, strength and love of a Savior Who loves us so well. Don’t let yourself get distracted by all the little things on the course, the sudden obstacles and stay focused on staying in followship of God and your driver, iron, chipper, and putter, and all the tools God has equipped you with to play with will help you play well below par, even making a hole in one! Unsure Times
Everything is changing so rapidly. How do you steady yourself in times such as these?? Making decisions is much harder because everything we know and knew, seems to be shaking. These are such unsure times and when we do step out, it feels like we are stepping out on shaky ground.
Our future does not look like it will go the way we planned it. There is a lot of instability in our cultures. We look and we see negative changes for the worse, in our chaotic culture. So if we need to navigate through a tight channel to find our way through, the navigational buoy helps keep us on track, so we can safely go through the channel even if the inlet is a frenzy of chaotic cultural change.
There are people in our time, terrible people, doing awful things as they are directed by evil, wanting to hurt and destroy us. People in our time are evil as they are serving no power higher than self corruption, and this causes grave consequences in our lives, and we have to face hard things that we never even had begun to imagine having to deal with.
But GOD, He is with us, He is the red buoy in the inlet of blue evil, He is the only One who can and will lead us out to safety. We can find our way out of every rough situation as the Spirit of God guides us with His discernment and as we listen up to Him. God is always available to us and He charts our course safely out of stormy, and very rough channels, thwarting very evil plan to crash our boat and bringing us safely into the open sea and out of the chaos of a wild inlet.
God makes a way for us where there seems to be no way. Jesus is our Deliverer and will stand in front of us when the enemy comes in like a flood and we can’t take another step in safety. We are never dead ended, because God finds us a good path out of evil traps laid for us, as He never leaves us nor forsakes us. If our culture is chaotic in the mediatic false frenzy which evil has stirred up, God makes a way of truth for us. There is never a time where we will not know our next step as Jesus shines His light of truth through the darkness of deception ahead of us.
We will never be boxed in by the enemy of our soul as we stay in followship of God. It doesn’t matter how much deceptive havoc our enemy stirs up, or how much muck and mire the people enticed by evil greed throw out on us, the Holy Spirit of God will lead us through, protecting us, cleansing us, keeping us, and giving us the favor we need to succeed. Even though greed is followed up by injustice nipping at its heals, we serve a God of Justice, Who can and will make the crooked places straight, and thwart the evil plans of our enemy.
Yes, because people have lost their way and have served no power higher than themselves, we have unsure times, but we can have a firm foundation when we step out in Christ Jesus, our identity wholly-holy in Him. He is our Way-Maker. There is never a time that we have chosen followship of God, that we will be lost, betrayed, forgotten, or forsaken. Jesus Christ is our anchor, and He is the buoy we can follow to safely to make our way in a world where all our societies are in chaos, stirring up whirlwinds which create unsure times, with currents that can carry us away. We can stop drifting away from God in times such as these, if we are anchored in Christ Jesus, He is an anchor that will hold. Let be, be still and know He is God.

Dread In Your Head?
Do you have your least favorite thing you don’t like to do? I have a few of them and I dread them. It is like that with my golf game too. I have my least favorite hole on my course, one that I don’t often do well on. Sometimes I call it my “cursed hole” yet I know it is all about me. I don’t do well on that hole because I dread it, I get in my head and then I don’t play well. This is a great example of how our golf game can teach us some really good life lessons.
Dread gets in our head, and when we dread something, we know that it isn’t going to end well because dread sets us up for failure. In life when we dread things, absolutely dread them, we do our worst. There are things in our lives that we don’t handle well because we start out with an attitude of our soul… dread.
Dread is a victory squasher, it is setting us up for failure. We don’t need to dread. God is in every moment to every choice of our lives. If we don’t like doing something, we need to change up our mind set to the reality of truth that God is with us, it is not about what we can do, but it is all about what He can do through us. We put way too much performance pressure on ourselves. God is not putting performance pressure on us, we do that to ourselves.
Dont dread, don’t get into your head, just relax and swing through and watch that ball fly. It is the same with our game of life. If we are all tensed up with dread, our emotions will be all over the place, we will not be able to relax, let be, be still and know that God’s got us.
Don’t let dread get in your head, let the peace of God rule you, all of you from your head to your soul, to your spirit, to your heart and to your goal, just roll with God and you will grow through ever tough situation smoothly and with God’s navigation, it will end well.

Liberty For All
Liberty: The condition of being free from confinement, obligation, restriction, conditions...
Our liberty in Christ rests in the perfection of Jesus Christ. I am imperfect, yet I am perfectly loved by God, freeing me to grow in my Christianity, to become more like Jesus, and to be free to learn and grow in Christ Jesus through the transforming power of His Living Word.
We mess with our own freedom by damaging the liberty we have received as we shook off bondages of condemnation from the enemy of our soul, just to take them back. There is a great scripture in Galatians 5:1 for those of us who know we are imperfect, yet perfectly loved, to remind us that we do not need to put on a former bondage of condemnation as there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.
At last we have freedom, for Christ has set us free! We must always cherish this truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past. Galatians 5:1
We are loved unconditionally! Are you loved that way? I know you are. God loves us unconditionally. God is really good at encouraging us to grow through without the condemnation that human beings like to plaster on us, but in a different, more graceful way, Jesus will correct our course with gentle conviction and unconditional love, navigating us back on the right course.
Things can get a bit “wonky” here on earth with imperfect human beings in relationship with other imperfect human beings. We can be so mean spirited to one another and when we don’t measure up to what others think is the perfection they need to stay in relationship with us, they leave and turn their backs on us. A Shunning Rejection! Human beings shunning other human beings, when they have the very same human condition, and are not perfect and never will be perfect. Sounds kind of foolish, but it does happen. Yet God, He loves us more than we could ever imagine or hope for and He has not left us, forsaken us, shunned us, rejected us, He keeps working towards growing us through with His grace and mercy, forgiving and forgetting.
People shun or ghost people. But, the crazy thing is that even God does not do that, shun people. God gives people room to grow, that is what His grace does by giving us the blessing of His Presence when we don’t deserve it, and His mercy withholds what we do deserve. Therefore it is very arrogant for human beings to not do the same, and it is almost a form of narcissistic control over people by threatening to withhold your presence from them because you don’t measure up to their standards of behavior that they have set up the boundaries for. There is no true boundary that can be set on a false accusation.
God knows when an accusation is true or false, so another person’s judging of your motives has no real value, because only God could know whether your motives are perfect or imperfect. False accusation is a difficult thing to navigate through with godliness, especially for us imperfect human beings. This is why we depend upon the navigation of the Holy Spirit in these kind of rough life waters and we lean into His perfect love which always creates in our soul the atmosphere of imperfection which is imperfectly perfect in Christ Jesus. We are loved. We are imperfect but perfectly loved by God.
Yet God, when we accept Him in our heart, the truth sets us free indeed. We should never return to the condemnation of our enemy. The truth is that God, He loves us in the perfect kind of way, yes He loves the imperfect, perfectly, and that makes us imperfectly- perfect in His eyes. Being loved unconditionally by God put the perfect in our imperfect human condition. Being in relationship with God is a great adventure because He knows us better than anyone else could ever know us and He teaches us how to take our uniquely shaped personality and wholly-holy align it with His character. You see, our imperfect is covered by His perfect:
For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God through our union with him. 2Corinthians 5:21

Ever Ask Why?
Why? Why God Why? Sometimes you feel like you are just stuck without an answer and you don’t know what your next step is. How do you deal with that? You ask and it seems like… oh my… just quiet… You don’t get a no. You don’t get a yes. You get nothing. What do you want me to do Lord? Usually He wants us to wait, and go with what we already know. Because if God is not answering, there is a good reason for Him purposefully withholding an answer. He does hear us. No doubt about that. His answer is usually Yes, No, Wait. I don’t like the wait one. We are so used to getting what we want, when we want it. We live in that kind of a world, the instant gratification kind of world
Sometimes we can get so bent out of shape waiting on God to show us what to do and our attitude really is not good, this is probably why we are waiting, He is shaping our character.
I sometimes I can’t understand why God does things, like I don’t understand His methods and definitely don’t like them, but I yield to Him. Why? Why do I yield to Him, because He has always finished well. It blows me away at times what He can do with a situation that is completely out of control and it got worse and worse the more I prayed, the more I tried to wrap my mind around what was happening, nothing worked for me, until it did. God finishes what He starts and He finishes so well. Why? Why? Because He can. Why? Then He says: Because I AM.
There are times I just smile and praise Him, thinking… I can’t believe what God just pulled off, how He made this, out of this, and did that out of that. I could never have done it that well, it ended so well. Way-Maker GOD!
So now I don’t say “Why” I just pray, seek Him, listen up, and watch and wait for Him to lead and me to follow. If we buck up our will against God, He will still move us forward because we will come full circle to that place where we have steeled our will against His methods and until we follow after His lead, we will continue to come full circle around. When we yield, we realize that God all along knew what we needed. He knew what was best for us.
We do learn to trust God. He is trustworthy. He is faithful to finish what He started. God knows why... purposefully so, He knows! We learn to trust Him, to yield our way to Him and in the end, it is so good, more than we could have hoped for or imagined. That good!!!! This is our God!

Yes I Can
Don’t we underestimate God way too much. I think for me, I get stuck in my worldly viewpoint. I was golfing the other day and I had a long putt to make par, so I automatically discount it in my head before I even putt the ball, I think, I can’t make it. Why are we like that? Why do us human beings lean into the negative first, instead of leaning into God and realizing with God, all things are possible. When we lean into God's Kingdom Perspective, we say: Yes I Can!
Golf is one of my hobbies, I love the game, it relaxes me, but lately God has been speaking to me, giving me His godly wisdom while I play my game of golf. I think that is cool, that He meets me where I am at. And this is why I know that I must learn to lean into His Sovereign Sway more often than not, because this will help me know: Yes I Can!
When it comes to golf, I am not really as serious in my striving to make a par, but when it comes to my life with God, I want to make that par, I want to be successfully being a godly influence in the lives of others and be creating a reputation, a living legacy of a life lived well for God, a person who finishes well with a par every single time.
How do I get to a par when I have a long putt? There are so many variables in this life and I get distracted easily and don’t count the cost of making the par. Like… how fast are the greens? Are the greens wet? Is their an uphill battle? Is there an obstacle on the green I don’t see. Does the green have a curve right before the hole? How can I make that par with a long, long putt? Well, the one thing I have going for me is I am equipped by God daily. He has taught me much, especially about being alert to His Presence and wisdom that is right here, right now wisdom from every moment to every choice I make.
I am finding out that the only stumbling block that keeps me from par is my own self doubt. God has shaped and designed me to play the game of life and set me up to win. I have been personally designed by God to be a person who makes par. It is my own head, my own thoughts of self-doubt, that keep me over par. The Word of God says differently and my past victories say differently. Yes I Can. I can make par. I know God is with me, I stand on His Promises. I rehearse the victories I have had in the past because of Him. I remember Whose I am, where my identity is placed in Christ Jesus. I believe with Christ in me, all things are possible and I know whatever He has brought me to, He has purposefully equipped me for. So I pick up my putter and I putt for a par. God Wins.

Mind Battles
We all have them… those negative thoughts that cause our mind to be ballistic battle field. Don’t we???!!! We have to resist the enemy with truth, as soon as the battle begins and thwart the enemy right away. Sometimes we make the wrong choice to engage with the thoughts, to mull them over and over in our mind and this creates a lot of chaotic thinking which truly does affect our mood. No doubt about it. I have been there and done that and when I over think things I don’t even know to be true, it affects my attitudes and then my actions. It is the plan of the enemy, start with the bad thoughts and hoping to hook us and reel us into bad behavior. Let’s not be hooked! Let’s be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Wise in our thought life and gentle in our walking out in our lives the things that are true.
Probably the best thing to do is to guard our hearts diligently, because out of them flow the issues of our lives. This is good godly wisdom. Our thoughts are the battlefield of the enemy, the battlefield of his choosing. Thoughts can become like a battle of thoughts that you can’t break out of. Thoughts that are bad and cause you anxiety. Thoughts that cause you to remember things you are trying to forget. Thoughts that come against the spiritual growth that you are trying to work out in your life.
The way I break through really bad thoughts is to say: JESUS help me in this battle. Then I begin to think positive thoughts, countering lies with truth. I then pray for the situations the enemy is bringing up, putting them in God’s hands, yielding the outcome to Him.
So, if you are suddenly bombarded with bad thoughts, the enemy cackle of the mind, and you can’t get free from them, you know that the enemy has chosen a battlefield and you need to resist the enemy. Start with Praise, begin praising God, acknowledging God for all that He is. Send Judah first into the battlefield. Then declare and decree God’s promises, remembering Who He is and declaring what He has said. Then pray, intercede for the situation that they enemy is using to bombard your mind with lies and pray for the truth to be revealed, pray up the truth. Resist the enemy cackle on his chosen battle field of your mind and he will have to flee in Jesus name.
Let’s go over our spiritual battle plan again: The enemy choses his battlefield. Your Mind! Your mind is suddenly bombarded with stupid thoughts. Praise - Declare Who God Is - Decree His Truth In Prayer - Testify of what God has done for you. The enemy has to flee! Awe-GOD!!

Thwarted Dreams
When ungodly opposition wins a battle out of the war, in a way that is so incredibly deceptive, it is hard to wrap our minds around that. God’s methods are sometimes very difficult to understand. Why does He do things the way that He does? Why does He allow evil to win a battle? The truth is God, He always has an endgame that is good for us, and glorious for the Kingdom. This is why it is good for us to Yield to God in the midst of battles with ungodly foes, where it seems like their are winning. It can be very discouraging for our soul if we try to “figure out” God. There are times when He doesn’t want to give us the full picture, He wants us to trust Him with His methods of getting to His endgame. God Wins!
Storms can suddenly roll into our lives and crash on the shore of our soul. The constant raging waves from our corrupted culture, crashing into our soul can be tiring on our patient endurance, and make winning feel impossible. Our expectations can get dashed by the waves that roll in and we must learn to translate disappointed expectations to trust and active faith.
God’s Infinite Love and Sovereign Will go hand in hand. If we sit at a road block of impossibility, God is right there with us, holding out His Hand of Infinite Love. These times where impossibility has become an unmovable road block, and our dreams seem to die by the impossibility of the obstacles in our way, we need to keep dreaming, keep hoping in God. Keep dreaming the impossible dream by taking our expectations and putting them in God’s Hands. We need to rehearse all the ways God has been faithful, all the things He has done that make Him trustworthy. Our expectations must become yielded to God, so He can wield them purposefully at the right time.
God’s Sovereign will can be hard to swallow, but His Infinite Love is always loving us at that roadblock we find ourselves butted up too, where our dreams of moving forward seem like they have died. Never give up on the possibility of God. Hand God your dreams and expectations, let go and let God work. It is a good time during the time between losing a battle and waiting on God to win the war, that we give God the room to work, by yielding our way to His perfect and purposeful timing for our lives. This is good living! This is stressless living! This is living in and with God’s peace, even amidst the warfare of our enemy.
The key is to not let our ungodly foes, who seem to have stolen our possibility to go forward with our dreams, have the final say in our life. Keep hoping in God. God has a good plan. Wait for it! Stay focused on God! If we take the time we do have, and instead of waiting by an obstacle, be about the business of God, the frustration will lift. When we seek first God’s Kingdom, we will find, everything else will fall into place.

Keep Your Pace
I love the game of golf, it is a lot of fun. I love the things that the game of golf teaches me and they are sometimes not just golf techniques, they are spiritual and character growth. There are times when you get people behind you and they don’t want to wait, they are pushing you forward off your pace. This happened the other day when a ball came flying by me, hit the ground where I was standing because the people behind us did not want to wait, wanted to push us forward. But what they didn’t realize was that there were two sets of four people ahead of me that were a part of what was slowing down the course play.
When you feel rushed, this is when distraction sets in and bad golf shots happened. My next two shots were bad because I felt rushed, and I let those behind me distract and intimidate me, and tried to speed up my pace. Keep your pace no matter what, play at your own pace. I did not play my game at my pace, and it made me play badly and be frustrated, taking the joy out of the game. When people are like that, just let them go around you, let them in front of you, so you can play your game at your own pace. If they are in that big of a hurry that they chance hurting someone by taking a shot when you have not even chipped up to the green, and they hit on top of you because they don’t want to wait, no problem, just let them go around. Stay playing at your own pace, and don’t let people who are in a hurry distract you, speed up your pace, or take away your joy for the game.
It is like that in life. We need to grow through at our own pace. Some things take longer to grow through than others, and we should not let people interrupt the pace that God has us growing at. When we take the time to “grow through” something, taking all the time necessary to learn well, to change some things up that will make us better, we will be so glad we did. We will finish well.
We shouldn’t let others push our growth, we should grow at the speed that the Holy Spirit is navigating us. We should not let others determine what that speed is, this is God’s job. God knows the time it will take for us to grow through so He can do the things He has designed and shaped us for.
Learning and growing with God, going at His pace that He has set up, we become the best we can be. When we are pushed by impatient people who want us to speed up, it takes away the level of growth God has determined we need by His purposeful timing. We should grow through at our pace and not be pushed by the demands of others who do not know us like God knows us. God knows us best. Grow through with God, Heart To Heart.

A Firstee
How to be a "Firstee"??? I say, I am a “Firstee” and you say: What???? What is a Firstee? A Firstee is a person Who puts God first in all things. We may have a “go to person” that we find first when we have a sudden situation come up that we can’t handle. But what I am saying is the way to be a “Firstee” which is the best way to live this life is to go to God first in all things.
Being a “Firstee” is being wholly-holy Gods. That means everything in your life does not have compartments, it is a decompartmentalized life. Your past-present-future are all underneath the navigation of God’s Holy Spirit, they are one because your past has taught you valuable life lessons that translate into your present and your future will carry forward every bit of God wisdom from your past and present. That is why it is so important to put God first in your Present day. We live day by day underneath the Rulership of God’s love, corrected in course by God, directed in and navigated by His Holy Spirit.
Being a “Firstee” is not explainable by this world or its dictionary, it is God given word that directs us to be a person who is navigated first by God. How does this play out in our lives? Well, common sense speaks and says: God is first in all things. Only God is the Fixer, Only God is the Way-Maker, Only God is the Deliverer. I acknowledge this by my actions and words. Everything I do is God First… everything I say is God First… everything I listen to is God First… every time I need counsel it is God First… every time I need encouragement it is God First… every time I serve it is God First.
What does that mean it is God First? I go to God first in the all of my everything of this life and I am equipped by God first in all things on this day.
I do have a best friend who always tells me the truth. I love that. We have been friends for a long time, she has given me so much counsel, wisdom, unconditional love, and lots of good memories. But, I don’t go to her first. I go to God first and He directs me to her a lot of the times. Yet, she is not my Fixer, Way-maker, Deliverer, God is… I take out that first step to people, and I make that first step God First. This is what makes me a “Firstee”! God is first in my life in the all of my everything, and I am wholly-holy His.

Light It Up
Do you think we are focusing too much on all the evil, darkness and lawlessness all around us? If we are focused on darkness all the time, how will people know about the Goodness of God which is in play all the time. God’s purposes are always in play for our good. We should talk more about God, about His goodness, about His life. Be a testimony of the goodness of God. Testimony in the greek means “do it again”. When we spend more time talking about the good things in this life and less time about the bad things happening, we are testifying of God of His miraculous ways in our lives and we will see God’s power go out and do these things again. Testify: Do It Again. Light It Up Jesus!
Everyday the light is here the light of God’s truth and love. The darkness is here too, evil is pouring out all over the place, but it never covers over or puts out the light of God. So why do we only see the darkness, only talk about the evil things that are going on. Change It Up! Light It Up! Light Up The Dark!
We need to LOOK UP, see the beauty in the skies, look around us and find God in the Present. Omnipresent God is all around us, with us and for us. So, if we only focus and talk about what evil is doing, how will people hear about God and all He is doing, which is a lot right now. Have you ever seen a time where so much evil is being exposed and expunged?! I sure haven’t, all the years of my life evil was secreted. God is busy being a Deliver and we are busy talking about the darkness we need deliverance from. We should light up the darkness with the miraculous testimony of what God is doing.
The evil will never overtake the light of God and this is the truth! We need to walk, act, and talk like we believe this. When darkness is all we can see and we don’t see hope or light, there is so much strife and not much forbearance, because this is the characteristic of what we are focused on. Darkness brings chaos, strife, hatred, hopelessness, despair and all these things are shattered by the light of God through one testimony of His goodness. Talk It Up! Testify! Light It Up!
Help us Lord to be less about ourselves and more about others, people who care, being interested in the welfare of others, carrying the light of Jesus, the hope of God to the world. Look Up! Reflect the light of Jesus to the world, to the people you are with today. Less darkness, more light, let it be so! SHINE in the Light of God! Testify of His goodness. Do it again Lord Jesus! Light It Up, The Darkness Of This World, Shatter It!

Got Gut Anxiety?
What do you do when you get that overwhelming “gut anxiety” which makes your soul so restless!? It just bubbles up from deep within your inner spiritual core. I call it my “gut”! I really don’t like those times, it is like a soul restlessness that takes away my ability to sometimes even think straight! Well, nothing is going to get accomplished until I settle the soul restlessness, so I make an appointment with God that is outside of my normal environment, some me and God time.
Why the soul restlessness? Sometimes, I realize it is God trying to get my attention, to slow me down long enough to listen up to something He has to say, or to a course correction He wants to make in me. I get way too much on my life-plate sometimes. Things I put on my life-plate that God does not, because sometimes I just can’t say no to helping someone. These are the times I get restless too, because I get over exhausted. We should really let God direct us to what we put on our life-plate. He definitely knows more than anyone what we can handle and when we can handle it.
About that God appointment…when I can’t get a handle on the soul restlessness, I will usually pick up my golf clubs, book a 9 hole appointment with the golf course, and off I go. There is something about a golf course, golf clubs, me, sunshine and exercise, that truly does help me sort through my soul restlessness. It is a great fixer for me. I go by myself, I go early, it is just me and God and usually we work things out stroke by stroke and hole by hole, as I play some golf. What is your soul fixer when you get that restlessness in your soul? Everyone is different, but golf and God time always works for me.
I get way too busy at times, so sometimes I do need a soul alignment with God. I enjoy time with God, where He can just speak into my soul and when I take that time apart with God, He never fails to speak peace back into my restless soul, and wholly-holy align my heart with His. I love that about God. I love that He meets with me right where I am at, right on the golf course, one of my sweet spots of comfort.
Did you know that gratefulness is a pathway to Soul Peace? So, it is always good to be thankful for Who God is in our lives. God is so personal! I am thankful that God, He is so good, He is always Present, He is wise and knowledgeable, He is trustworthy, His truth endures, He loves me lavishly, He is a great provider of everything I need, and I am grateful to be His. A lot of my time on the golf course, is just that, being grateful for so many things and expressing them to God as I enjoy a round of golf with Him and me. Happy golfing! God bless ya!
