You can't get carried away with a preseason friendly result... but I do anyway! Here at the New York Stadium, a dominant Rotherham United make me happy on the night by beating Premiership Sheffield United by a goal to nil... and give me hope for the season to come. UTM!

Sometimes what we need is a nice relaxing walk... clear the mind and listen to the world around you.

RUWFC beat Mansfield Town Ladies 4-3 on penalties in the inaugural playing of the #HerGameToo Shield. An enjoyable game filled with effort, endeavour and skill... not too mention a nailbiting grand finale! All of the players were a credit to the badge, and the win sealed an exceptional season of football here in Rotherham. UTM!

One team secure in the Championship next season... one team already relegated and their players unpaid... what odds on a boring, tired, drab and uninspiring game? Whatever, it was a party in the away end and... we are staying up, I said we are staying up! UTM!

The highs... the lows. It all came down to this. A bunch of heroes, a so called referee, a wildly up for it crowd, 90 minutes of joy and stress... and HAKEEM ODOFFIN!!! Not a great birthday present today as the Millers give a lacklustre display against Luton Town. Luton deserve their win, and now the nerves are back for the final few games.

A good day for a Millers fan! 3-1 win against West Brom and well deserved to boot... in fact I was so happy, I made an appearance on Radio Sheffields Praise or Grumble (time stamp 5.40pm) later that evening from a pub beer garden... probably not that wise 🤣

Can't say too much about Simon's final sermon for HTW... don't want to spoil the surprise at 3m45s. The Tuesday service has always been a strange, but wonderful mix of liturgy, bible study, prayer group, discussion group and pop culture... ... so for Simon's exit, he ends as he started... quirky... unpredictable... and hopefully thought provoking.
