We’ve got another hardy and robust pasta dish for you that has so many flavors on an extraordinary number of levels...Pasta Puttanesca.
If you are a lover of tomatoes and olives, with a hint of saltiness, this one is for you.
And make sure to use a pasta that is called Rigate. One that has ridges. So that it grabs and holds the sauce so that they become one.
We say it time and time again...but it is so essential. Do as much prep work as possible, before starting to bring the ingredients together. It makes the workflow go so much easier.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to feed four to six adults:
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil

Today’s menu is special to Vince. It’s his mom’s recipe for pasta marinara. And is as authentic as any dish that we have on our channel.
It was a Thursday night special dinner every week...and hope that it will become yours also.
To start, let’s review the basic ingredients you’ll need

Chicken Limone | Elegant but Simple Chicken Recipe!
Want to prepare a dish that is both elegant, but simple and savory at the same time.
Many different cuisines have their take on lemon chicken, but we will base ours on the Italians’ version, Pollo al Limone, made with ingredients readily available in every grocery store.
For successful cooking, we always suggest doing as much prep work as possible, before starting to bring the ingredients together.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
List of Ingredients
1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1-1/2 boneless filleted chicken breast
6 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons coarse black pepper
2 medium fresh lemons juiced
1/3 cup kosher salt
pinch of crushed red pepper flake
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 cloves of fresh garlic (coarsely chopped)
2 cups unsalted chicken broth or stock
2 tablespoons powdered chicken bouillon
1/3 cup capers
8 ounces of fresh mushrooms (optional)
The mushrooms are an optional ingredient...and can be eliminated, without affecting the quality of this recipe.
We’ve gone a step further with the recipe in the episode by adding dried mixed wild mushrooms.
If you add dried mushrooms, don’t forget to soak them in hot water for about 20 minutes. This rehydrates and cleans them at the same time.

Instant Au Jus or Gravy | The Quick and Tasty Recipe Way!
Have you always wished that you had the time to make gravy for that perfect roast...or just didn’t have the drippings to generate an au jus?
Vince has a quick and easy way to create an au jus or gravy for any type of meat in minutes...just watch this episode.
Here are the basic ingredients you’ll need:
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sriracha sauce
3~4 cloves of fresh garlic (coarsely chopped)
1-1/2 cups chicken or beef broth or stock
2 tablespoons powdered chicken or beef bouillon
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoon cornstarch or flour (optional for gravy)
If you want to turn the au jus into the gravy, just thoroughly mix two tablespoons of cornstarch, or flour, into a half cup of cold water, and stir it into the mixture.
But don’t add the cornstarch directly into the gravy...it will turn into a lumpy mess.

Use two tablespoons of salt for every quarter of water...or one-half cup of salt per gallon of water.

LIST OF INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1 large onion coarsely chopped
3 pints cherry or grape tomatoes halved
2 teaspoons salt (Kosher preferably for sauce)
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flake
1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
8 tablespoons unsalted butter (1/4 pound)
4 to 5 cloves of fresh garlic (coarsely chopped)
½ cup of saved pasta water
¼ cup of fresh chopped basil
INGREDIENTS FOR PASTA
1 pound fettuccini or spaghetti pasta
4 quarts of water for pasta
½ cup salt for pasta water (Kosher preferably)

We’ll demonstrate this tip while making some fresh lemonade.
You’ll need some basic kitchen ingredients and kitchen tools and procedures shown on the list of ingredients below.
LIST OF INGREDIENTS AND EQUIPMENT
This recipe is for approximately three quarts of lemonade or seven 12 oz glasses with ice.
● 6 to 8 medium-sized lemons
● 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 cups of granulated sugar
● seven cups of cold water
● dissolve sugar in a saucepan with 1 cup of water
over low heat, and allow to cool
● sliced lemon rings, mint, and/or strawberries for garnish
