“Frank, my granddad was a logger that lived in a logging camp. He’d tell stories of the pretty bad conditions there. But I learned some things from watching your logging camp dvd that I didn’t know about. I really liked this story. Thks.

“To Frank and everyone at Exploring Historys Treasures TV,
This episode was good like the others. For me I always loved anything about the old logging camps. I spent lots of times in the woods cutting trees and have thought back about those old timer loggers and what they dealt with like weather and being safe. You did a real nice job with this logging camp video. It explained a lot.
I hope you continue to film more.

"Frank,
"I am very interested in seeing "Exploring History's Treasures" go into syndication. Since I first heard about the series several months ago, I have been eagerly awaiting for it to appear on television. I think the mixture of history, the outdoors, and the thrill of the search would make this program highly enjoyable to many audiences. I would compare it to History's Mysteries meets Antiques Road Show. It is sure to be a winner, and I will be waiting for it to hit the airwaves in Columbus."

Ep 9 – Part 4- The March to Fort Bull Series – The Battle
In this final series of “The March to Fort Bull”, Frank and John move on to the small blockhouse and recreate the massacre and the battle. The explosion of the ammunition and weapon supply at Fort Bull tossed debris and weapons fragments along with parts of cannons, cannon balls, and grenades, for miles. Even today, farmers in the surrounding area of Fort Bull are finding pieces of Fort Bull's history in their fields.

“Frank-
The DVD series, A March To Ft. Bull was quite interesting. Are you planning more TV programs? Keep me in your database and let me know. I will be buying the Ghost Towns In The East DVD as well.
Sorry, one more question. I know your TV series is in different parts of the country, but can we get it here in the Cleveland market?
All the best.

“Frank, this is Jim C from the state of PA. As I mentioned on the phone, you may use my testimonial if you do not include my full name. To reiterate, like many others that have given compliments to your TV shows, the fear of retribution from people who may be against your productions or what we say about them is not worth the risk of identifying ourselves. Social media and the disrespect from so many are unfortunate norms in society today.
Enclosed is my check for the purchase of all your Exploring History’s Treasures TV series DVDs. As I mentioned in our phone conversation, I will be showing them in every one of my history classes. Your productions will be a wonderful teaching experience for my students.
Since we spoke, I have notified other history teachers about your shows as well as the library at our school. Hopefully, your DVDs will be added to their shelves.
Keep up the great work. I am looking forward to seeing more of your shows.
Sincerely,
Jim C, PA.”

“To Everyone at Exploring History’s Treasures TV Show
I’m not sure who at Exploring History’s Treasures will be reading this or if anyone will even read it. So I'm addressing this to everyone there anyway.
I’ve never gave a comment for anything in my life that I’ve bought. I’m sure doing it here. My wife and I we just watched another of March To Fort Bull shows. Holy cow they’re helpful with information and funny to. We laughed a lot watching John and Frank kidding each other. My wife and I can’t wait to watch the last episode of the series. Thanks and I hope someone reads my comment. If you do read this and you want to say something back to me please use the email I gave you.

Ep -6 The March to Fort Bull - The Journey Begins
A little-known battle during the beginning of the French and Indian War in New York State played a significant role in the fur trade between the French, the Dutch, and the English at that time.
In 1756, a young French Lieutenant, Gaspard Joseph Chaussegros de Lery, was stationed at Fort La Presentation, located at the confluence of St. Lawrence and Oswegatchie Rivers, and what was at that time northern New York State. It would be from that fort that Lieutenant de Lery would at the request of the King, lead an army of 362 men on a treacherous journey of 130 miles, to capture a small fort, named Fort Bull that was occupied by a tiny garrison of thirty men. Fort Bull was a small stockade-built fort that held supplies and ammunition, such as cannon balls, shells, grenades, and gunpowder to support the English in the war and their trade efforts. De Lery’s journey from La Presentation, down the western side of New York State in the winter of March of 1756 to attack Ft. Bull was a formidable task due to hunger, sickness among his men, desertions, and relentless, blustery cold.
John DeCharo, (R.I.P. My Friend) my cohost, and I along with our film crew, devoted weeks traveling de Lery’s route, and metal detecting along the way.

“Hey, Frank,
Thanks for speaking to my 9th-grade history classes. The students loved your talk and “The March to Ft. Bull” DVD. You magically captured their interest with your knowledge. And your use of the artifacts and the metal detector was an added bonus for them to see.
Anytime that I can help students excitingly connect to history, creates a learning experience they will never forget. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and your time with my students.
Thank You,

"Hi Frank... watched Your series today and loved it! One thing though... What the heck did John find towards the end in episode 5 ?????
Your series was very entertaining as You really have to watch closely to appreciate its value in the knowledge the series represents & the counless hours it takes to learn & investigate the subject matter as the history just does not present itself out of thin air. It is VERY important that people know of the early settlers, who they were, the hardships of the time & who made the country what is today / The early Pioneers/settlers.
This series is of interest to Young and old alike as very few take the time to do what You do and that is to document and tell the story of our past history
Its a shame that more television stations do not air such fine work as You did regarding this series! This is the high season for "Reality Shows" and what better than the reality show: Exploring History's Treasures" a show that is entertaining and educational.”

“Frank,
I'm new to metal detecting and have been reading and watching everything I can get my hands on. This was one of the best educational DVDs on how to research productive search areas from the past that I have come a cross. In episode two you really touched on how to use old survey maps to find untouched sites. There is nothing on my local cable channels that supplies this type of information and I would love to be able to see your further adventures and hopefully pick up some additional helpful hints.
Thanks again and best luck with your series. I hope to see you in the field someday.

“Frank:
Loved watching the DVD with my two boys (8 & 10). When I first put in the DVD, my kids were mad & wanted me to switch it back to the Disney channel.
Once we started watching it, they were enthralled. My oldest got his first metal detector for X-mas in December, my other son turned 8 on 1/13/06, so he wanted one too! Of course, I got him one too!
Since the weather in SW Ohio is not great this time of year, they have only gone out 2-3 times. They can't wait for warmer & dryer weather!!!
Anyway, after getting them hooked on the DVD & them making sure we watched all 5 episodes, they were completely crushed at not finding out what you found. Just thought you would like to know. We watched the DVD over a week ago, and they keep asking me every day if I have emailed you to find out what was in that hole! FRANK, JOHN......WHAT IS IN THAT DARN HOLE
I have my guesses, but realize it could be anything from a casket to the "treasure box full of gold". My boys are hoping it was the Doctor's gold.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know our response to the DVD. Can't wait until you have a regular series on TV. I hope it's on a channel I can access locally, or I guess I'll be ordering a DVD subscription.
I really loved the DVD.
Looking forward to more EHT to come.
