We've been on a little hiatus here on YouTube and Rumble, I'll have a video about that at some point, but we are back! We started out 2023 with moving into a new house and preparing our townhouse for market. Took a birthday getaway for me to Tennessee and went to Dollywood. We got to finally throw Thomas a birthday party at our new house and even rented a bounce house! Jon started a gaming streaming channel and I've been handling his social media as well as editing his videos here on YouTube and Rumble. We went with our church youth group to Kings Dominion - haven't been since 2019. Saw Bluey's Big Play and Disney on Ice. Took the boys and my mom pumpkin and apple picking. Our last big event of the year was staying at the new Baltimore/Perryville, MD Great Worlf Lodge the week before Christmas. We try to pack at least one box for Operation Christmas Child. This year we are packing a box for a boy 5-10 years of age and a girl 5-10 years of age. On our last full day in Florida we had reservations for Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in Disney's Beach Club Resort. While enjoying our delicious buffet breakfast, we got to meet with Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Daisy Duck. We finally made it to a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! We ended up going to the very first party. Even though the lines were long for pretty much everything, we did get to see all the special Halloween overlays for several of the rides and brought home a decent amount of candy. We decided that for our full free day down in Orlando, FL we would travel over to Kennedy Space Center. While we were there, we got to see the Space Shuttle Atlantis, ride in a simulator similar to what the astronauts train in, take a bus tour of all the different sites NASA owns, as well as learn lot of information about the history and future of NASA. Lots of interactive things at every location and is sure to be a hit with pretty much everyone in the family. Afterwards we decided to hangout at our hotel (Courtyard Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village) and swim in the pool. We then ordered some pizza and watched some Netflix. All and all, we had a great day. I am all about simple meals and Spanish Rice is one of those meals. It's a meal that my mom made growing up and you could say it's like a deconstructed stuffed pepper without the cheese. One of Michael's 2018 Christmas gifts was tickets to the Crayola Experience in Easton, PA. We decided to go on a teacher work day so that there wouldn't be too much of a crowd. Crayola had so many different activities for everyone to be interested in. Even us parents got into doing lots of the activities. Several of them Michael had us do 2 - 3 times while there.
