So after seeing blood sugar readings of 20mmol/L I finally decided it was time to do something about the type 2 Diabetes that crept up on me. For the last 2 and half months I've been intermittent fasting, eating a pretty strict keto diet and exercising through it all doing martial arts. Using resin is a great hack to give the material strength, longevity, gloss and shine. UV resin is quick drying with UV light but toxic before drying (ironically food safe after hard) so take all precautions when applying (safety mask, gloves, ventilation hood, air purifier, etc.). And yes of course you can resin a 3D object! Just use a brush and several resin coats, fully drying between applications. Art Resin could probably work too but the cleanup would be horrible because the stuff takes hours to dry instead of minutes like UV resin but it is safer.

This is a really fun effect where you can be really creative in making your display or hud elements like those dials and spinning gears or wiggly wave lines. I needed to light the face according to the colour of the display, whether it was pink, blue, or red. Also, a bulge effect gave everything a nice curve like a helmet or tight cockpit. Playing with the 3D effect for the circle parts was the game changer though! Use of effect: Maybe you'll inherit Eidith glasses from Tony Stark like Spiderman, or maybe you'll board a mech and fight giant aliens... When the doctor tells you you have diabetes and all of a sudden you're at risk for heart disease and amputation, it's time to take matters into your own hands and cure this thing. Some people will say "oh eat everything in moderation" - they also mean eat any time, in moderation..... but doing this will only kill you faster. If you want to beat Diabetes for good, you have to burn the fat, engage in fasting and eat a low carbohydrate diet like the "ketogenic diet." Sometimes scientists like Jason Fung and Dr Huberman refer to fasting as "time-restricted eating".
