How Often Should You Ejaculate? (During Semen Retention)
How often should you ejaculate? The answer is different for every person, and in this video, I'll talk from the perspective of semen retention. Check out my free 7-Day Semen Retention Challenge: https://bit.ly-7-Day-Semen-Retention-Challenge
The short answer you have your own Ideal Ejaculation Frequency (IEF) that's specific to your age, activity level, and lifestyle. Ultimately YOU are the only person who can determine how often you should ejaculate.
Different traditions have different perspectives on ejaculation frequency:
TAOIST SEXUALITY
20 Years Old = Ejaculate once every 4 days
30 Years Old = Ejaculate once every 8 days
40 Years Old = Ejaculate once every 10 days
50 Years Old = Ejaculate once every 20 days
60 Years Old = Should no longer ejaculate
**These figures were taken from Mantak Chia's book The Multiorgasmic Man
TANTRA
A man should ONLY ejaculate if he is trying to procreate. ***(This is just one example of an extreme school shared for the sake of comparison).
It's important to keep in mind that if you ask 100 different people what "Tantra" means, you'll get 100 different answers.
BRAHMACHARYA (YOGIC)
This term refers to a lifestyle practice of being intentional with AND retaining ones life-force energy. In the sexual context, this refers to not letting your sexual energy go through mindless sex, porn, distraction, excess ejaculation etc. Similar to the word "Tantra," there are LOTS of interpretations of the word Brahmacharya.
Personally, I see semen retention as the healthy & modern equivalent to Brahmacharya. Semen retention doesn't mean that you can never ejaculate, to me it just means being intentional with your ejaculations.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU EJACULATE
You have your own ideal ejaculation frequency, and only you can figure this out. Ultimately you'll have to figure this out through experimentation. Try going for 3 days without ejaculating, then ejaculate and notice how you feel. Experiment. Increase the amount of time between ejaculations. Try 7 days. 10 days. 14 days. 21 days.
Pay attention to how you feel - specifically, notice your levels of confidence, zest for life and mental clarity - and notice how they're affected by an ejaculatory orgasm. Remember that the effects of one ejaculatory orgasm last for many days.
7 DAYS WITHOUT EJACULATING

How NOT to Initiate Sex With a Woman
Here is how NOT to touch a woman if you want to have sex with her (plus how to touch her). This video was inspired by an email I got a couple days ago... Here's the The short version:
DO NOT go straight for a woman's genitals.
This might be what you want as a man, but it's almost certainly NOT what women want (generally speaking)... and if you do this, you'll likely ruin the scenario - or at least create a scenario in which you'll have to "recover" from.
DO THIS INSTEAD:
Focus on other areas of her body. Kiss her passionately, pull her body close to yours, whisper how much you want her in her ear, be 100% fully present with her. She will get turned on, and eventually will want you to touch her genitals.
Do not rush this.
It generally takes women much longer to get fully turned on than it does for men... so keep this in mind. Make full-body pleasure and connection the goal - as opposed to genital stimulation and orgasm-focused sex.
I used to do this all the time when I was younger. I didn't know any better...
I was never taught how to touch a woman, and porn wasn't a good teacher at all. In porn, men go straight for women's genitals, and the women appear to like it... But remember that they are acting.
Take it slow.
It'll be worth it.

When She Says She Has a Boyfriend... [VLOG]
If you meet a woman who you're attracted to, and she tells you she has a boyfriend, try this (what I'll show you in the video). Be honest, own your attraction, and then let go. This is a personal story.
Attraction doesn't have to lead to physical intimacy or relationship, and if she has a boyfriend, you don't want to be the guy who pursues her - because that's just not cool. It doesn't honor her, it doesn't honor her partner, and it doesn't honor your own integrity.
Yes relationships come and go all the time, and I know people can meet their future life partners while they are in a relationship, but IF a transition happens, it needs to happen naturally. You can't force it.
My last partner met her current partner while her and I were still in relationship, and to that guy's credit, he didn't force anything. He let things happen naturally, while being authentic to his own desires. I share this to say that I get it from the other side too.
Not that it was easy, but when things are done in integrity, the potential for fallout is vastly reduced.

The Dangers of Semen Retention & NoFap - (Don't Mess This Up)
If you're practicing semen retention and you feel stuck, tired or apathetic, you've probably found one of the uncommon dangers associated with this practice. It's possible to build up TOO much energy in your system - to the point where you become stagnant.
THE MOST COMMON DANGER of semen retention is that you'll be WAY too amped up and hyper-focused on sex. You'll see this from guys who say that they haven't ejaculated in 90 days and they feel amazing (while their eyes are bulging out of their heads).
While semen retention is quite safe, there are some other dangers too - including a hidden danger that most people don't talk about. The good news is it's pretty easy to deal with - you just have to be able to identify that it's happening. Here's the danger:
⚡ENERGETIC STAGNATION ⚡
This is a big danger of semen retention, and it catches most people off guard. It's kind of like eating too much food at one meal and entering into food coma. It can feel like you're stuck, like you have brain fog, like you're tired and have moderate lethargy and apathy towards most things. In the practice of semen retention, energetic stagnation happens because you've "built up" too much energy without giving it an outlet.
One of the best ways to deal with this is by doing physical activity. Cardio is ideal. That'll help wake things up in your body and it will give you an outlet for this built up energy too. Another option would be to simply ejaculate and start your retention streak over. (In Taoist Sexuality and other systems, ejaculation is an important part of being a healthy, thriving sexual being.

NoFap vs Semen Retention - What's the difference?
NoFap vs Semen Retention - there is a difference. Nofap is usually a transformational period, and semen retention can be a lifestyle. Try this FREE semen retention challenge: https://bit.ly/7-Day-Semen-Retention-Challenge
THE MAIN DIFFERENCES:
🔥 NOFAP: usually refers to a period of time where men choose to not watch porn, not masturbate, not have sex and not fantasize.
They do this to reset their sexual response systems and get over things like porn addiction and the over-objectification of women. Lots of guys do 30 days of nofap, and get amazing results. Some do nofap for 60 days, or even up to one year of nofap or more. It's clear that the benefits of nofap are real.
🔥 SEMEN RETENTION: refers to a sex-positive and pleasure-positive lifestyle practice of ejaculating by choice, and only with intention. The benefits of semen retention have been known for many generations, and you can find versions of this practice in Yoga & Tantra (known as Bhramacharya) and Taoist Sexuality.
With semen retention practice, sexual energy is seen as sacred - as one of the most powerful forces in the universe, and this energy is integrated into the body through somatic practices like qigong and yoga.
Sexual energy transmutation is an important part of semen retention too - this is why Napoleon Hill devoted an entire chapter of the book Think and Grow Rich to the transmutation of sexual energy. I believe he was talking about semen retention and he didn't even know it.
For the record...
I am much more versed in semen retention than I am in nofap. I haven't thoroughly researched nofap, this is just my basic understanding of it based on talking to a bunch of men and watching some videos on the topic.

How I overcame jealousy of another man. (Personal Story)
I was able to stop being jealous of another man when I realized that I could transform my jealousy into fuel to learn from him.
Sounds simple I know, but the truth is we're always at choice with how we respond to jealousy. We can choose to go down the path of jealousy, or we can choose to learn from our jealousy. Jealousy is there to tell us that we're needing something. Ultimately, jealousy is about ourselves.
But it's so tempting to blame someone else, or make someone else bad in our mind... right? It's much easier to do that than to accept the fact that you're jealous.
When I accepted that I was jealous, I was finally able to stop being jealous of this guy, and enjoy my own embodiment as a human.
Present moment embodiment is a huge cure for jealousy. No joke.
It's next to impossible to be jealous if you're fully embodied in the present moment.

Think and Grow Rich is an incredible book that I highly recommend, and one of the chapters in this book is entirely dedicated to sexual energy transmutation. On the one hand it's shocking that sex energy could be referenced in a book that is many decades old, but on the other hand it makes complete sense because Napoleon Hill (the author) shares in this book the characteristics that very successful men have that allow them to bring riches into their lives.
Semen Retention is the missing link in the sex energy transmutation chapter. In this chapter, Napoleon Hill talks about how all of these successful men have figured out how to transmute their sexual energy, but he doesn't actually share how to do it. I think this is because he just didn't know.
I'm here to tell you how. As a man, there's quite an easy way to do this. Practice semen retention. Be intentional with your ejaculations. Understand your sexual energy, and learn how to transmute it so you can use your sex energy to supercharge anything you want.

Do the math.
If you've never gone seven days without ejaculating, I highly, highly recommend that you try it.
If you ejaculate 3-4 times per week, you're probably not living up to your full potential as a man. Because you're regularly telling your system over and over and over again that you've completed your duty as a procreative animal. You've done the job. You've created new life. You can rest.
You don't have to go out into the world and succeed, and secure a new mate... Which if you're in a relationship, securing a new mate "energy" could be transmuted into building a better business, or rocking out your creative projects, or doing anything that you're passionate about.

HERE'S WHY GOING SLOW WORKS: There's a threshold for most men around the 10-minute mark, and once you cross this threshold, lasting longer becomes much easier.
***** When you go for 10 minutes without ejaculating, you're telling your body and physiology that ejaculation isn't the goal. *****
I know it sounds too simple, but try it before you knock it. The first 10 minutes of sex are CRUCIAL for overcoming premature ejaculation, and setting the foundation to last as long as you want.
YOUR BODY NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THIS
Not just your mind.
We're programmed to ejaculate quickly for the sake of procreation. I'll say it again, your body needs to understand that this is not the goal.
Your body needs to understand that that lasting longer IS the point. To take it deeper, your system needs to understand that sustained pleasure is the point.
Again... Once you make it past that 10-minute threshold to the point where your body understands, it becomes MUCH easier to last as long as you want.
This happened to me last night. I hadn't had sex in 3 months... so you could say I was a bit out of practice... Because of this, I was more sensitive than usual, and when we began having penetrative sex, I felt myself approaching the ejaculation danger area (nearing the point of no return) relatively quickly.
So we slowed down, breathed together and focused on sensual connection more than on physical pleasure. Somewhere around the 10-minute mark, I crossed that threshold, and then all of the other techniques to last longer I've been practicing for years became effective.
Those techniques aren't as effective in the first few minutes...
It's like warming up for a race. You wouldn't just dive right in without stretching first. You need to warm up and ease in so you can build up to your full potential.

Retrograde Ejaculation - (Avoid the Million Dollar Point Technique!)

This video is specifically for men who are practicing semen retention, and who are trying to achieve orgasm without ejaculation. I'm aware that there are other reasons why some men might have retrograde ejaculation for certain medical reasons, but those reasons are outside of the scope of this video (and my experience/research).
In the context of semen retention and orgasm without ejaculation, retrograde ejaculation is what happens during an ejaculatory orgasm when a man's semen is diverted into his bladder instead of ejected through his penis.
How can you tell if you've had a retrograde ejaculation?
1. If you lose any amount of erection or arousal after your orgasm.
2. If you pee in a glass cup, and you notice any viscous or milky semen-like fluids in your urine, that's a tell-tale sign that you've had a retrograde ejaculation.
If you practice squeezing your kegel muscles enough, you can even cause a retrograde ejaculation just by squeezing your muscles (without pressing on the million dollar point), but you'll still experience the refractory period associated with the typical ejaculatory orgasm.

What's really happening when we practice semen retention? I want to know what you think.
Does semen retention work because we're retaining our sperm (the part of our ejaculate that can actually create new life)? Or is it because of other physiological processes in our brain that happen after ejaculatory orgasm?
What about semen retention for men who have vasectomies? They're not letting any sperm go when they ejaculate, but they still go through the same refractory period.
I want to make sure that what I share about semen retention is based in as much logic as it can be, and as a community of guys on the internet talking about this I want to ask you this question:
Are we promoting semen retention in logical ways? Or are we spreading new age ideology?
The benefits of semen retention are real... there's no question about that. The practice has changed my life in incredible ways. I just want to make sure the way we're talking about it is real, practical and grounded.
