A TASTE OF TORAH: Portion "Ki Tisa" (When You Take) l Exodus 30:11-34:35
In this episode of "A Taste of Torah", we will be briefly highlighting the portion of Ki Tisa related to the Golden Calf incident. Pastor Gary and Chaplain Jeanne discuss the importance of standing your ground against the majority who have chosen to turn their backs on YHVH, their Creator and His commandments for life. These precepts apply then...and now in our ever changing and disintegrating world stage. The LORD has always kept for Himself a remnant who have not bowed their knee in idol worship to Baal, according to 1st Kings19:18. He also is prepared to find us while we are yet sinners, and freely offers Mercy to those who truly repent of their sins are are willing to accept His gift of eternal life. This merciful gift came at a great cost, the very life of His precious Son, Yeshua--therefore we must be willing to stand for Him, no matter what the cost to us.

PURIM l Fulfilling Your Purpose in the Diaspora
HaMakom Purim Celebration Teaching: "Fulfilling Your Purpose While in the Diaspora". Join Pastor Gary and Chaplain Jeanne with HaMakom Fellowship as they discuss how sometimes God's purpose for our lives is not what we expected. Hadassah (known as Esther in Persia), her uncle Mordechai, and many others were taken captive from their homeland in Israel into Persia...where their lives and actions, with the leading and protection of the LORD, would eventually save generations of Jewish people. Could we take a stand against evil...even if it meant our very lives?

A TASTE OF TORAH: Portion "TERUMAH" (Offering) l Exodus 25:1-27:19
Pastor Gary is teaching on how the Mishkan, also known as the Tabernacle in the Wilderness--can bring us into a closer relationship with God. Chaplain Jeanne discusses how we are also "Made according to the Pattern". She also discusses the intriguing possibility of the hyper-radioactivity of the Ark of the Covenant, and how the Mishkan rituals and furnishings may offer protection to the High Priest and the Levites as they perform their daily duties. This study is based on a selected portion from this week's Torah Portion, "Terumah", or Offerings. This is part of our new "A Taste of Torah" series, which highlights a portion of the current weekly Torah reading.

Are End Time Prophecies Hidden in the Hanukkah Story? (It's Not About the Oil)
Join Pastor Gary & Chaplain Jeanne from HaMakom Fellowship, as they discuss horrific elements documented in the story of the first Hanukkah...recorded in first Maccabees and partially in second Maccabees...which bear an uncanny resemblance to the end time events prophesied in the Bible. You may also be surprised, as we were, to learn of the actual reason for this eight day festival related to the "Miracle of the Oil", and it's not what you think! Could this be a picture of the tribulation?

WHEN MACCABEES Become PHARISEES | Vision vs. Division in the Hebrew Roots Movement
Join Pastor Gary and Chaplain Jeanne (Zamar) of HaMakom Fellowship as they discuss how the initial zeal for the beauty of Torah and a Hebraic way of life-- can morph into judgmental treatment of others in the Body of Messiah. Gary & Jeanne have been in Messianic Ministry Leadership since the late 1980s, and have observed a very concerning trend in the growing "Hebrew Roots" The actions and accusations of some in this movement towards others related to the Sacred Name, calendars, Sabbath, "approved words", and much more-- do not reflect the fruits of the Spirit, or the love Yeshua (Jesus) commanded us to express to others, let alone the life, ministry, and Mercy Yeshua himself demonstrated when He gave His life for us as His Redeemed. This harsh treatment has alienated many Believers along with others exploring Faith in Yeshua. This is a call to action to personally reflect on our actions and words to others or about others...and make sure that we fulfill Yeshua's last command to us ...to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19a) through the LOVE He repeatedly commands us to demonstrate to those both inside and outside the Household of Faith.
