The traditional festive look back at the number ones and other notable hits of the year.Mostly good songs but a few naff ones thrown in.No one year had great number ones all year through,that is just imposssible.Most of the hosts involved in this special.

Last standard edition of that year.Hosted by Kid Jensen who was always a great presenter on it.Some decent songs in studio like Imagination and The Maisonettes.

A few repeat performances in this edition from the 2nd December one but still good.Jimmy Savile hosts but by that year his hosting duties were getting pretty sparse.Renee and Renato take the festive number 1 slot that year sadly.Went to number 1 that week and stayed at top for 4 overall.

I have all that month's editions,so here is the next one.Presented by Simon Bates who isn't a great presenter in my view,not the worst though.Lot of decent chart music anyhow.Same as usual in that era.

Getting near the festive period with this one.The reliable Peter Powell hosts this edition.Lots of good music in this one,in my view.Hope you feel the same also.
