Dr. Richard Bosshardt joins Moms on a Mission Podcast again to update us on advancements made regarding his ban for life from the American College of Surgeons online discussion forum. He reminds us that he is a practicing Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and has been a Fellow of American College of Surgeons (ACS) for over thirty years. ACS was founded in 1913!! The leadership of ACS calls itself “structurally racist”, he explains, white surgeons are racist, and even surgery, in general, is discriminatory. Dr. Bosshardt states that the ACS claims that black patients do better with black surgeons yet that statement has not been proven. Dr. Bosshardt explains that not only has he been silenced with his lifelong ban from discussion forums, he has also been blocked from having any access to the membership directory along with having no access anymore to his own private messages. After appeals to the Board of Regent and to the Head of the Central Judiciary Committee, the ban is still in effect. In fact, he tells us that the department in ACS that disciplines surgeons never even reviewed his ban because it was not technically a disciplinary action, so they decided he does not deserve a hearing. Silenced, isolated and unable to contact fellow surgeons through the ACS, Dr. Bosshardt shares that he continues to push back. Today we welcome Israel, from Alphavets, as he describes how he and his co-host, Chris, met and started their Alphavets podcast. He says that they have always been two, laid back guys who have this knowledge that needed to get out but also to talk about Jesus. Moms on a Mission Podcast hosts Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer to discuss the formation of Sheridan Church, its rich history, and his call to speak biblically based truths even when it’s controversial. He tells us about some of the “hit pieces” written about him and how God has used that for his good! Pastor Jackson shares about our Christian heritage and explains that even Benjamin Franklin, who was not a Christian, said that every public school in America should teach the Bible. Thomas Jefferson, as president, brought in the U.S. military band every Sunday in the newly built capitol building. He used tax funds to give to missionaries to evangelize the Native Americans. He teaches that “Separation of Church and State” does not mean the church stays out of the government and this must be looked at in context. He transitions to talk about the “Pastors for Trump” organization that he was asked to start, which has over 10,000 pastoral members. Pastor Jackson continues saying it was formed to educate pastors as it relates to true history and embolden pastors to boldly stand for biblical truth. Our guest today, Kim Witczak, shares how she experienced her worst nightmare from which she never woke up when her healthy, athletic, entrepreneur husband, Woody Witczak, hung himself from the rafters of their garage after his family physician prescribed Zoloft to help him sleep. She explains how this “accidental advocate” life found her. She travels for work and says she was not home when he was placed on the drug. Kim explains how he felt like his head was outside of his body but the physician said he needed to give the drug 4-6 weeks to work. She talks about how her life of drug safety advocacy developed and how she helped get the black box warning placed on anti-depressants. Kim says she is fighting to change the legacy that Woody leaves with the world. She teaches us that one thing she is advocating for is to not allow the same group responsible for the approval of a drug be the same group evaluating the safety of it. Today, Moms on a Mission hosts DJ Day in our studio as he shares how he was fired from his hardware store employment in Boston, Massachusetts for his conservative free speech and standing up to the radical left. DJ explains that God providentially directed him to Tulsa, Oklahoma to purchase Midtown Hardware. He goes on to tell us that Boston is the hub for the radical Marxists and more specifically, Somerville, Massachusetts. DJ went on to say that State Superintendent Ryan Walters, Senator Dana Prieto, and praying school board member, E’Lena Ashley, held a Press Conference and states that it was “terrifying” to him and notes that he is on “team reality”. After he made an appearance there, DJ reveals that his sales cratered. He explains that someone got on the Midtown Hardware’s Facebook page and shared that he had been at the Conference telling everyone to boycott the store. Following this, his sales plummeted by 50%. But he shares that the local grassroots organization, called Women For Tulsa, rallied around his business, and his sales have soared!
