Originally recorded live in 1992, here is the long-anticipated music video for the song Kuwait by The Bliss Machine. Re-recorded in 2022 and released on the 32 year anniversary of meeting between Saddam Hussein and US Ambassador April Glaspie. That fateful discussion led to the subsequent invasion of Kuwait by Iraq, the Persian Gulf War aka Operation Desert Storm, provided grist for Al Qaeda's 9/11 attack, the later invasion of Afghanistan, Operation Desert Shield and most recently America's embarrassing exit from Afghanistan. All of these were undeclared wars by the US Congress: #defendtheguard Lives lost and billions wasted. What's the fighting for?
