Key West, FL The last Key in the Keys. We had a nice time visiting Key West. We went to the Aquarium, rode the Conch Train and enjoyed a Sunset Cruise while we visited. If you ever get a chance to visit, you should try one of the Sunset Cruises, it was a nice way to end the day. I just got back from a two day trip to the Disney World Resorts. We went to the Magic Kingdom the first day and were able to get on Torn. It was my first time riding this ride. Later around 5 pm after some rain, we got to see a double rainbow over Frontier Land. It was really pretty with the sun starting to set, but it was cold and windy for me. It did rain a little more that evening, but it was a fun day. Disney Springs has the Christmas Trees Scavenger Hunt 2023 ready. It is free to do and fun to look at all the decorated trees. When it gets dark they have "snow" by the main Christmas Tree! It was such a beautiful sight to see. The Disney World Resorts Christmas Trees and Gingerbread houses are ready to view and purchase yummy Holiday Treats. Here is how to view the houses if you are not staying at one of the Resorts: Start at Disney Springs, take bus to Yacht club, walk to Beach Club, walk or take boat to Boardwalk. Then catch bus to Disney Springs. Get but for Grand Floridian, take monorail to Contemporary then take bus back to Disney Springs. Animal Kingdom Lodge will not have their house ready until Nov. 22nd., but you would have to take a bus there and back from Downtown Disney. The Art of Animation Resort at Walt Disney World was such a beautiful stay. The theming was wonderful with the Little Mermaid Area - This is where we stayed. I went Kayaking on the Loxahatchee River at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, Florida. Kayaking is such a fun water sport. It was a beautiful paddle full of twists and turns. The river was very shaded so that was wonderful for paddling on a Hot May Day in Florida. The trail had two drops, the first one you could kayak over or you could carry your kayak across on the little bridge. I chose to kayak over and filmed it, so you could see how it was. I was not going over that second one lol, I don't think you are supposed to. A solo visit at least for the first half of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. I completed the Garden Graze and Spike the Bee Scavenger Hunt. Tried some food and watched the fireworks. It was a fun day and I was able to fit in a ride on Gardians of the Galaxy! This video is of my adventure visiting Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, near Miami. We saw a Falcon and two stingrays. The ocean was beautiful and the lighthouse had great views. I was able to capture the Walt Disney Railroad Train pass by us as it was whistling and the steamboat was whistling back.
