Daily Dose Episode 3: Mindful, but not Overwhelmed
I feel like being mindful of things has gotten a bad rap in traditional Catholic circles thanks to an association of the word ‘mindful’ with the Modernist/Buddhist push for “mindfulness.” There’s almost an entire cult dedicated to mindfulness, but I don’t believe in throwing out the baby with the bathwater (if one is going to use a wretched, but effective, idiom). Is “heedful” preferable?
Regardless, this episode refers to being aware of our propensity to sin, but not letting that awareness consume us. Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was restful and productive and your Sunday was glorious.

Daily Dose 2: Do What You Can Do
Today’s episode is about doing what you can do and doing what you should do as Catholics. This is not meant to tell you your business but to encourage you (me, all of us) to do our duty of state in life the way God wants us to. Enjoy and as always, don’t be shy about reaching out!
