Being as you all seemed to love the videos about famous brands with secret nazi links when we made individual videos on each brand, we are back again, this time taking an objective look and looking at some famous brands which you have probably heard of and how they were connnected to nazi germany in the past. As we always outline, a brand's history isn't indicative of current beliefs & many companies have done what they can to compensate for a dark past. With that being said however, it makes for an interesting video to look at which companies did what & where their origins come from. In this video we look at all of the dark strategies which big tobacco brands have used time and time again to keep people hooked onto their products. From unethical working conditions to exploitation of workers and environmental pollution, big tobacco brands have been accused of a lot over the years. Arguably, where the tale takes it's turn for the worst is where brands tried to ignore, cover up and lie about the harmful effects of their products, marketing products as low harm & advertising in deceitful ways. Overall, the malfeasance which we have seen from the tobacco industry is one of the biggest breaches of trust which we have seen from any big corporation, arguably in history. Whilst governments claim more is being done to combat the evil effects of the tobacco industry, it still turns over billions in revenue every year at the expense of human life.

As of 2023 it's highly likley that you have interacted with an apple product at some point, be it a mac or macbook , ipad or iphone . But behind the sleek exterior of these devices lays a hidden story. The intention of this video is simply to outline some criticisms of apple business practices. For absolute ease of understanding, this video revolves specifically around the production of the iphone & processes involved. For a while now, it's been alleged by numerous sources that manufacturing companies of apple goods have used sweatshops and sweatshop labor in the manufacturing process of devices like the iphone. Whilst these are only allegations, if correct, this boils down to what could be considered a significant breach of human rights and a real moral issue for i-device users. The thing is, whilst IOS and mac OS are sleek and smooth, one ultimately has to question the morality of a big brand like apple & ask if the company cares about the greater good of people or soley profits.

From the emissions scandal to others, the history books have been busy for volkswagen . More interesting though is the origin story of the brand. Unknown to many, the brand has origins in nazi germany and ww2 . The then governing nazi party of germany wanted to create an affordable & reliable car ... this was where the name came from as vw simply means the peoples car. The problem with this genius concept however is that the brand was created at the commission of adolf hitler and the nazis. More importantly, the famous volkswagen beetle was designed by Ferdinand porche ... yes, that's right. The founder of porche also plays a part in this surprising story.
