When We Lost a Nuke: Broken Arrow No.1
In this video, I'm launching a new series all about the many incidents when the US lost nuclear weapons in one way or another. In this edition, I'll be going over the flight of Ship 2075, and the first Broken Arrow incident on record.
*Note: In the video I refer to Harold Barry as "Commander Barry" despite his rank being Captain at the time. Commander is not even a USAF rank, but he was the mission commander, so that's why I use that title.

Nuclear Negligence - The Story of Operation Crossroads
A mini documentary on the first atomic bomb tests after World War II.
There is so much more to say about this event that I couldn't fit in the video, and I'd love to do a follow up or Q&A if interest permits. I see the tests as a sort of historical bridge between WWII and the Cold War, and the ins and outs of Operation Crossroads reached further into US nuclear policy and Cold War history than I could have imagined when I started researching, so there is plenty more to say!
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more mini documentaries!
