Cross Examination w Mark Curran Sep 12, 2023 (No.18) Effects of Legalizing Marijuana, SA Kenneally
Cross Examination with Mark Curran Sep 12, 2023 (No.18) Scrutinizing the Effects of Legalizing Marijuana, States Attorney of McHenry County, IL Patrick Kenneally, ProLife Activist Bonnie Quirke, and WSFI Station Manager Angela Tomlinson join Mark Curran to tackle new data coming out showing how the legalization of marijuana is impacting society. McHenry County States Attorney Patrick Kenneally made headlines this month after he threatened to sue marijuana dispensaries NOT posting mental health warnings and says he will file the lawsuits if they do not comply in the county. https://www.shawlocal.com/northwest-herald/2023/09/01/mchenry-co-states-attorney-threatens-to-sue-marijuana-dispensaries-that-dont-post-mental-health-warnings/
Here's why...
Marijuana is not without negative side effects as society was conditioned to believe. Marijuana is a drug that can have various effects on physical and mental health. Some of the common physical effects include breathing problems, lung irritation, and bronchitis from smoking, increased heart rate and blood pressure, problems with child development during and after pregnancy, intense nausea and vomiting in some cases. Marijuana can also cause dizziness, confusion, and drowsiness. It can worsen some mental illnesses like depression. But further studies have shown the impact of the substance use on schizophrenia. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-12471303/Health-effects-weed-Marijuana-schizophrenia-smokers-addicted-death-pregnant-biden-restrictions.html Marijuana is behind 3 in 10 schizophrenia cases, can be a death sentence in pregnant users, more than 40 million adults use marijuana, more than double 10 years ago.
Long-term effects of recent legalizations are just now becoming known, and the Patrick Kenneally shares his insight with listeners this week.

Cross Examination with Mark Curran July 4, 2023 (No.14) with Micki Whitthoeft, Mom of Ashli Babbitt
Mark Curran, and special co-host Patrick Kenneally, McHenry County, IL States Attorney, sat down this week with Micki Whitthoeft, the mother of U.S. Veteran Ashli Babbitt, who was unjustly and callously shot in close range by Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd on January 6, 2021. Whitthoeft has been in DC for nearly a year praying every night with family and community members of the detainees who are being illegally and unconstitutionally detained in DC by bias Democrat U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves, who has repeatedly abused his power and also kept exculpatory evidence from juries that involve video footage of those whom he has targeted with arrest and prosecution. Many prisoners have been treated poorly in the DC jails, denied medical treatment and denied, access to lawyers, as well as being denied visits by family and friends. We ask the Catholic community to pray for the detainees and their family members and for elected officials to do the right thing to see that justice is fair and that constitutional rights of detainees are not being deprived.
Babbitt was the only person ever shot inside the Capitol, yet no thorough investigation was conducted of Byrd's actions that day, and even though Babbitt was not armed with any weapons nor did she pose a threat to anyone. Babbitt's family has filed a lawsuit against U.S. Capitol Police for wrongful death as a result of the wrongful and illegal shooting of their loved one.
The family of Ashli Babbitt also is planning to sue the department and Michael Byrd, who is responsible for shooting her for. Babbitt was an Air Force veteran and loved her country dearly.
The Justice Department had announced that it would not pursue any charges against the officer. The department refused to prosecute the officer and they have not used any outside entities to conduct a thorough and fair investigation of Byrd.
The family maintains that there was no need to shoot her and this was unwarranted lethal force that was use. They believe it is a case of police misconduct and civil rights violation.
What is a “Section 1983” lawsuit? Section 1983 is part of the Civil Rights Act of 1871. This section allows citizens whose civil rights have been violated to file a civil lawsuit. They can take civil action against state or local officials like police, county sheriffs, deputies of the sheriff, prison guards, wardens etc. Section 1983 cannot be used for suing a private citizen who is not connected to the government. Also, the section cannot be used for filing a lawsuit against federal government employees.
Police misconduct and brutality
Abuse of police power by officials responsible for protecting the people is a very serious matter. The impact of police misconduct and brutality affects not only the victim but also their family. Any instances of police brutality, denial of civil rights and police misconduct challenges our Constitution. Some of the types of police misconduct that permits filing a lawsuit are:
Excessive use of force
False arrest
False imprisonment
Malicious prosecution
Illegal searches
Planting fake evidence
Unwarranted use of weapons

He believes the data shows we are now in unchartered territory and offers his insight on how the collusion with the government and Big Pharma to roll out vaxeeeeeeens to the masses was illegally conducted, bypassing the current arduous standards and testing by using the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

Cross Examination with Mark Curran May 23, 2023 (No.11) with Father Carney, Author of "The Secret of the Holy Face: The Devotion Destines to Save Society." Father Lawrence Carney describes how he wears a white cassock, which is useful when he walks the streets of a city. An inquirer may be drawn into a conversion about Jesus Christ as a result. He left Wichita, Kansas and is on a journey to meet thousands of people who want to talk about God, including fallen-away Catholics. His stories help put together his book The Secret of the Holy Face, which is why he came to Chicago to visit and spread the message.
https://catholicdioceseofwichita.org/humility-and-a-miracle-behind-fr-carneys-book-about-the-holy-face/ Fr. Carney said in an interview last year that there are people he has encountered on the street who want to be baptized, who want to become Catholic. “I just go out and walk and pray the rosary. My mission is not to go to meet someone, it’s to pray to God and while I’m praying my rosary or my breviary, I’m talking to God – and when people ‘interrupt’ me I can share my contemplation with them and talk to them about God.” Our Lord and St. Francis Xavier spent nights in prayer and then would share that with people, he said.

Cross Examination with Mark Curran May 16, 2023 (No.10) with Elizabeth Yore, Child Advocate Attorney
Cross Examination with Mark Curran May 16, 2023 (No.10) with Elizabeth Yore, International Child Advocate Attorney and Founder of Yore Children. Yore spoke with Mark Curran about the past sex abuse scandals that have hurt our Catholic Church and the need to continue to stand up for the Church to ensure that our community of faith grows and unites against crimes against children. They also discussed how the current President Joe Biden, a Catholic, has abandoned much of the teachings of the church and sold out or pandering to groups that have sadly destroyed faith and family in our country. His son Hunter Biden also has clearly launched a money laundering operation that generated millions of dollars for the family selling his power for policy favor to corrupt foreign adversaries. Yore also focuses on the massive human trafficking crimes and reprehensible child sex crimes, including child prostitution, found on Hunter Biden's laptop that have yet to be prosecuted.
Elizabeth Yore served as Special Counsel at Harpo, Inc. for the last 5 years. In that position, she acted as Oprah Winfrey’s Child Advocate both with the Oprah Winfrey Show and in South Africa at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls. Prior to that position, Liz was General Counsel for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, the Illinois statewide child welfare agency. At DCFS, Liz created the first missing child unit, which required the DCFS to immediately notify the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children when a foster child went missing. Illinois has been the leader in that initiative. She also spearheaded a program to aggressively prosecute human trafficking cases in the department. Prior to DCFS, Liz was General Counsel at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in Virginia, and its first Director of the International Division handling international child abduction cases. She now blogs at Yorechildren.com, twitters@elizabethyore and consults internationally in child exploitation cases.

However, Larry was fired for providing informed consent to the cadets and parents of the Academy, after the Chicago Public Schools CEO, Pedro Martinez, gave everyone in the district the day off so they could get their 5 to 11 year olds vaccinated and boosted. It was well known early on that children have a better chance of dying from the vaccine than they do the virus. Forcing the vaccine or booster is child abuse. Cross Examination with Mark Curran Jan 27, 2023 (No.3)
This episode, Cross Examination host Mark Curran sat down with Attorney and Pro-life Activist conceived in rape, Rebecca Kiessling. https://rebeccakiessling.com/
Her advocacy is focused on stopping abortion, including in the case of pregnancy from rape.
Kiessling was raised by her adopted family in Detroit, who raised her and her adopted brother in the Jewish faith. She graduated from law school at age 23. During law school, she converted to Catholicism.
In the 1960s, Kiessling's mother was raped at knifepoint and fell pregnant following the assault. She then was advised by her rape counselor that she obtain an illegal abortion in back-alley clinics since the elective procedure was illegal by Michigan law at that time, and consulting a legal physician would have been costly. However, she was deterred from obtaining an abortion due to the unsanitary area and practices there. After she gave birth to Kiessling, Kiessling's mother gave her daughter up for adoption.
At age 19, Kiessling met with her birth mother, Joann, who had told her that her biological father was a serial rapist as well as "Caucasian and of large build.
Initially raised in the Jewish faith, Kiessling converted to Christianity at age 23, following an invitation to attend Mass by a friend after suffering domestic abuse from a boyfriend with whom she attended law school. Sadly, on July 29, 2020, Kiessling announced that her two adopted sons, Caleb and Kyler, died tragically at ages 20 and 18, respectively, from drug a fentanyl overdose.
