Dipterocarpaceae | Akmal Senja Source
The Dipterocarpaceae is a group of pantropical plants whose members are widely used in the timber sector.
Trying to save the Dipterocarpaceae forest means trying to save the homes for other species in it, keep carbon absorption going, and ensure the availability of sufficient oxygen for the future inhabitants of the earth.

How to Grow Lettuce in a Container from Seed | Toward Garden Source
Planting lettuce in containers or polybags There are many ways to grow lettuce, one of which is planting lettuce using containers or polybags. With this method you can easily do it at home.
So, to find out more about how to plant lettuce in pots or polybags, consider the following steps: Choose a pot with a minimum size of 20 cm. Fill using a loose planting medium, for example a mixture of sand, compost and manure (2:1:2).
Transfer the new lettuce with two leaves to the containers. You do this by punching holes in the planting medium larger than the root mound. Watch the lettuce roots, pull them out and remove them carefully. Cover the roots again using the planting medium by pressing it so that it is quite dense. Lettuce that has two leaves is carefully transferred to a larger containers or polybag.
Water carefully. Use a sprayer if necessary. Store in the shade for 3-5 days before placing it in direct sunlight.
To maintain humidity, you can cover the top of the planting medium with straw. If the size of your poly bag / pot is large, you can plant several lettuces in one container.

LOSS OF THE WORLD'S BIODIVERSITY
Over the last 50 years there has been rapid growth in human consumption, population, global trade, and urbanization, resulting in humanity using up more of the earth's resources than can be replenished naturally.
A recent WWF report found that population sizes of mammals, fish, birds, reptiles and amphibians have decreased by an average of 68% between 1970 and 2016.
More broadly, a recent analysis found that the sixth mass extinction of Earth's wildlife was accelerating.
More than 500 species of land animals are on the verge of extinction and will likely disappear within 20 years; the same number lost over the last century. Scientists say that without human destruction of nature, this rate of loss would take thousands of years.

Global Warming From Fossil Fuels
Attention: Images in the video are for illustration purposes only.
Global Warming From Fossil Fuels. Increased greenhouse gas emissions have caused temperatures to rise, leading to catastrophic events around the world – from Australia and the US experiencing some of the most devastating forest fires ever recorded, locusts swarmed parts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia, destroying crops.
Scientists warn that the planet has passed a series of tipping points that could have catastrophic consequences, microplastics found in Antarctic ice for the first time, a heat wave in Antarctica which saw temperatures rise above 20 degrees for the first time, warnings of advancing permafrost melting in the Arctic region, Greenland's ice sheet is melting at an unprecedented rate, increasing deforestation in the Amazon rainforest, an air pollution warning exacerbating the spread of viruses on earth.
China experiences worst floods in decades, methane levels rise to record highs, Canada's last intact ice sheet collapses, a national park in the US records the highest temperature ever recorded on Earth, 13% of deaths in EU linked to various forms of pollution, a report says that wildlife population sizes have seen an average 68% decline since 1970 and record-breaking wildfires in California blocked sunlight – and these are just a few of those events.
However, a study found that even if all greenhouse gas emissions were stopped by 2020, global warming would only stop around 2033. It is critical that we reduce greenhouse gas emissions; fortunately, this year will see the highest uptake of renewable energy projects worldwide.

SEACHA Conference | FULL VERSION | Culture Wisdom for Climate Action | 2023 | The Second Day.
Full Version from the SEACHA Conference "Culture Wisdom for Climate Action: The Southeast Asia Contribution".
The second day. This comprehensive discussion uncovers the relationship between nature, belief systems and urbanization.
The Southeast Asian Cultural Heritage Alliance (SEACHA) Conference “Cultural Wisdom for Climate Action: The Southeast Asian Contribution”, organized by The Siam Society and supported by B. Grimm. At the conference, community leaders, scholars and activists from across the region will highlight Southeast Asia's ancestral wisdom and cultural heritage as key components of the region's strategy to mitigate climate change. Much of the dialogue around climate action is driven by voices outside the region. It's time to recognize how Southeast Asia's heritage and traditions provide an overlooked arsenal for their countries' strategies to tackle climate change. At the conference, Southeast Asian perspectives will draw on regional history, sustainable resource stewardship methods, indigenous design practices, traditional spiritual traditions, and indigenous social structures to inform conversations around climate adaptation. Not only looking back at traditional knowledge but also having to elevate the spirit and vision of Southeast Asian youth who will shape the world to come. That's why both established and emerging leaders from generation to generation will share a platform in Bangkok to lead us in the first conference in the region that doesn't ask, What will climate change do to cultural heritage? rather, how cultural heritage can help mitigate climate change.

Tropical Rainforest - Please analyze
Tropical rainforests or often also written as tropical rain forests are biomes in the form of forests that are always wet or damp, which can be found in areas around the equator. Approximately at latitude 0°–10° to the north and south of the equator. Tropical rain forests can also be interpreted as forests located in tropical areas that have high rainfall. Therefore, it is called the Tropical Rain Forest. These forests are found in Asia, Australia, Africa, South America, Central America, Mexico and the Pacific Islands. This forest formation is known as the equatorial evergreen rainforest lowland, tropical evergreen rainforest lowland, or briefly called tropical rainforest. Apiss forest in the Amazon Tropical rainforests are home to half the species of flora and fauna worldwide. Tropical rain forests are also dubbed as the world's largest pharmaceutical, because almost 1/4 of modern medicine comes from plants in this rain forest. But what happened after the logging industry came along?
