The screams in this video are produced by the Aztec Death Whistle. This is an ancient ceramic musical instrument, shaped like a skull, that was played during Aztec sacrificial ceremonies. It has been called the world's scariest sound. By the way...the name "Jabberwock" is backwards because we're in Lewis Carroll's Looking-Glass Land. www.vanevanfuller.com

I've spent a considerable chunk of my career in advertising, and when I plan a "fine art" project it often turns into a label or poster for a (fictional) place or product. At least you can still buy the art. www.vanevanfuller.com

Yes, I know that the term is "medieval." It's a joke. You'll be medieval yourself, one of these days. I like to work in the medieval style because I can make errors in perspective and anatomy and pretend I did it on purpose. www.vanevanfuller.com

Traditional Japanese art is at the root of Impressionism, which is at the root of most modern art. We probably ought to pay them royalties. Modern Japanese anime is at the root of most western cartooning, for which we ought to sue them. www.vanevanfuller.com
