How to Fix your Minn kota trolling motor that won't turn !!
!!!!!!! Please Read !!!!!!
If you have lost steering function, please read:
Terrova/ST motors use drive housings that are specific to the voltage of the motor. For example, a Terrova 55/ST 55 uses a 12-volt drive housing, a Terrova 80/ST 80 uses a 24-volt drive housing, and a Terrova 101 & Terrova 112/ST 101 & ST 112 use a 36-volt drive housing.
To properly test the drive housing apply the voltage appropriate for the model directly to the drive housing leads while observing the drive housing amp draw. The amp draw under bench test, no load, conditions should be less than 2 amps for a 12-volt drive housing, and less than 1.5 amps for 24-volt and 36-volt drive housings. (NOTE: Reverse the polarity at the drive housing leads to check amp draw in both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation.) If the drive housing amp draw exceeds the values listed (2 amps for 12-volt drive housings or 1.5 amps for 24-or 36-volt drive housings) suspect that the drive housing has taken out the steering circuit on the main control board. (NOTE: When this has occurred the drive housing MUST be repaired or replaced prior to replacing the main board. If the higher than normal amp draw of the drive housing is not corrected the steering circuit on the new/replacement main control board will also fail.)
please make sure to check amp draw before replacing your Controle board it took me toasting a brand new Controle board before finding this one website with this disclaimer on it.... was not a cheap mistake

Replacing Blown Head Gasket Yamaha F 225 four stroke (part 1 tear down)
So the day I want to go lobstering start the boat up on the hose before leaving the house make sure all is good and motor was running rough like it had a miss.
decided to pull the plugs and see if plug was dirty or bad or coil pack wasn't firing etc. pulled #6 spark plug and water comes pouring out of the hole ....... so here we go with fixing the head gasket issue on the motor without pulling power head was actually extremely easy with minimal mechanical knowledge you could pull this off !!!

Mutton Snapper Mania After Hurricane Ian
Prayers go out to everyone on the west coast of Florida who was impacted by this hurricane.
In this video we ran out boynton inlet 2 days after the hurricane passed we where fishing just off some reefs in the delray beach area in 60-80ft of water with the mullet run going on and the storm stirring up the water there have been tons of snapper being caught in the shallower water even mutton's caught off the beach and piers lately!!!
Rod and Reel Setup
Shimano Torium loaded with 40lb mono swivel on the main line for a weight loop then main line tied to another swivel with 40ft of 40lb fluorocarbon leader if you are trying to save a little money can run mono leader with last 10-15ft fluoro leader tied to the mono with uni to uni knot lead depends on the current even with very little current i would fish a minimum of 8-10oz lead muttons are super shy and if the lead is dragging or bouncing on bottom they will shy away and no bites :(

We snuck out before the wedding and caught some Mahi Mahi!!
in this video we headed out of palm beach inlet started off the morning trolling planers for wahoo ill outline our trolling spread below but we ended wahoo fishing after about 2 hrs we got 2 cutoffs and caught a gill net cutoffs kinda just happen some days we fish mono most the time in hopes of getting more bites and inevitably you endup getting cutoff.
Anyway after wahoo fishing we headed east south east for a 20 mile run out to about 1800ft of water looking for birds and weed lines seeing absolutly nothing along the way was starting to lose hope when we turned slightly north and found a nice patch probably 20ft around and some more near by so we put couple lures out ill list them bellow and started trolling around the weedlines and next thing you know bam mahi on the line !!
.:: Tackle Breakdown ::.
Wahoo Trolling
2 Avet 30 wides one port and one starboard for the long and short planer
Short planer #8 is a light colored seawitch with a bonita strip
Long planer #4-6 is a darker colored seawitch blues purples red black etc
2 top baits on talica 16s with little feathers or squid skirts with mylars etc for tuna or mahi those are on the outriggers and we will run a long shotgun feather as well
Mahi Trolling
When running and gunning for mahi or searching multiple patchs we keep it super simple like to run a small squid skirt with a bonita strip that you can cast out if need be on one side of boat on the other side run a naked or skirted chin weighted ballyhoo normally close to the boat 30-50ft back and down the center running a mahi hunter lure its a small squid skirt with a hook being chased by a larger mylar chugger head awesome lures for mahi
If you have any questions or wanna see something specific drop it in the comments ill be happy to make it happen
As always thanks for watching hope you enjoy the videos !!

make plastic trim look new again!!!
disclaimer !!! always do a test spot before going after a highly visible trim piece with a flame or heat gun I'm not responsible for melting your trim hahaha also works great on old dirt bike/atv plastics that are sun faded
Hunting for lobsters and Skiff update and pour foam!!
So to start off did some free diving looking for new spots to find lobster along pompano beach to commercial blvd area then got some more work done on the skiff got all the foam poured and ready to be sanded flat so i can start fiberglassing!!
GEAR LIST:
jbj woody magnum sawed off speargun
100ft of float line to a cressie dive float
and for the lobsta i like to use a lobster snare
i attach the dive float direct to my spear gun with a long line clip so if i see a lobster or something in a rock ill just drop the gun or hook the line off there and unclip the snare and go after the lobsters also acts as a marker so when coming up for breath you don't lose track of what rock you where on

Massive Golden Tilefish!! and update on the skiff build
How to deep drop for golden tile fish!! below ill outline the rig we used the rod and reel setup along with my friend Phill's info he is a captain for hire and has a yacht management detailing company if interested in booking a trip.
Rig -
starts with 200 - 300lb swivel and a water activated diamond light
next have about 2ft of diamond 150lb leader to the first 3 way swivel
off the 3 way swivel or can do crimp swivels have 1 ft of same 150lb to a 10/0 circle hook on the branch line theres a piece of glow sleeving to add a little glow and that continues on same way for next 3 branch lines then another 2ft of leader to a 300lb snap swivel to attach your lead to we had a glow squid skirt on 2 of the hooks to add a little more light to the rig
Rod and Reel -
Tanacom 750 on a x-generation custom deep drop bent but rod
Where to fish -
you want to try to find soft bottom off the edge of some hard bottom the fish congregate around structure if you can find structure in 600-800ft of water make a couple drifts around it and should find tile fish if you catch black belly rose fish you are normally in the right area as tile fish love to eat black belly rose fish!!
