History is Relevant

A video I made a while back, about how I used Tinderbox to organize my field reading while I was in graduate school. I made the video early in my YouTube career, before I really began using Obsidian, but I think it contains some interesting bits.

First of a series of videos in which I read a biography I wrote about the early 19th-century freethinker, Dr. Charles Knowlton, who was the first American to publish a birth control manual in 1831. He was jailed for it. In each of these videos I'll read a chapter of the biography. I'll post a couple per week.

This was a reaction video I made a while back to a Veritasium video called "The Man Who Killed Millions and Saved Billions", which was a mini-documentary about the German Nobel-prize scientist, Fritz Haber. I originally posted my reaction on YouTube and it was watched by a teen who decided to do a History Day project on Haber. He interviewed me on Zoom and his project made it to the National contest.
