AP/Rhino CASC 2015 stage 1 "Managing Ammo"
Originally uploaded to youtube on 9/17/2015
Got the both clays this time ... using the stage gun which was a .410. I changed my pre-load several times before the round, second guessing myself. The low recoil ammo continues to cause me grief.
42 of 60 - time 121.13 with no penalty (leaders time 33.66)
My first all shotgun match.

Stage 2: 35 of 60 - time 23.72 with no penalties (leaders time 10.45)
Taking way too long to transition between targets and why am I swinging the gun up and down between targets? Lots to work on...
Stage 3: 43 of 60 - time 29.70 with a penalty of 10 (leaders time was 9.64) Missed that for clay again... I would have moved to 19th on this stage had I hit it. Could have done a lot better on the star too.

Ap/Rhino CASC 2015 stage 4 "Ports"
Originally uploaded to youtube on 9/17/2015
There were some awkward positions in this stage at the ends of the boxes. I took way too long to line up the shots and to move between targets on this stage. Almost shot the 3rd popper without aiming through the port after the second clay.
34 of 60 Time 94.17 with a penalty of 10 (missed the first clay)

AP/Rhino CASC 2015 stage 6 "Choked Up"
Originally uploaded to youtube on 9/17/2015
Started off ok, but still having issues with the low recoil buck not cycling the action. At 0:37 I start having issues, one round doesn't cycle, then next won't eject and I waste a lot time clearing it and then reloading. I spent about the same mount of time clearing that jam and reloading as the leader did to complete the entire stage :-(
Left one pipe standing that was hiding behind a barrel ... FTE!
47 of 60 Time 98.29 with a penalty of 15, 10 for failure to neutralize and 5 for the procedural failure to engage (leader time 46.79)

This is the first stage I shot, the can cannon was great. Having issues with the low recoil slugs not cycling the action. I'll need to get a TTI Ulitimate Light-Speed Buffer Spring for the next match...
41 of 60 - time 91.52 with no penalty (leader was 31.84)

Richmond #USPSA - Stage 4 - Limited Win - 8/167 - Jim Susoy - Limited A Class
I dorked up my plan at the end of this stage, turns out other people did too. Limited WIN! You never know, never give up.

I've been working on being more aggressive on the first stage of the match without having things fall apart. It's starting to come together, unfortunately the rest of the match did not go as well...

Richmond #USPSA - Stage 4 - Limited Stage Win - Jim Susoy - Limited A Class
Fun little stage, my mag would not fall ( I need to get to the bottom of that!) but I was able to get the gun up in time. It may have slowed me down as I wasn't able to concentrate on getting to the next position. Had some tension in the last position that caused some trigger freeze.
Richmond #USPSA - Stage 5 REF Battle
This chronicle's my personal battle with range equipment failure on stage 5 last weekend. To my squad: I salute you and thank you for your valiant efforts which allowed to me to finally complete the stage.

87% on CM22-07 Cross Road Blues - USPSA Classifier - Jim Susoy - Richmond September 3rd 2023
We were lucky enough to be able to use a new bay at Richmond that enabled us to build one of the newer classifiers 22-07. These are more like mini-stages than the traditional stand and shoot classifiers and better represent the sport.
I needed to do this in 7.9 seconds with 6 Charlies for an M score. Luckily I did it faster because I picked up 2 Delta's. Still a master score.

Happy 4th!! 06-05 "Fluffy's Revenge II" classifier. My turn and draw needs some work...
Linden #USPSA - Stage 3 - 3rd of 98 - Jim Susoy - Limited A Class
My best stage from last months Linden match. With the makeups on the mini poppers, I did not come off this stage feeling great about it. It turned out to be my best stage shooting 95% of points and 3rd overall against all the dot people.

Richmond #USPSA - Stage 3 - Jim Susoy - Limited A Class
2nd Limited on this stage, 20/151 overall.
Two mistakes on this stage.
1) execution: I stepped over the fault line on the last shot and had to step back in costing me at least 1 second.
2) Stage Planning: I opted to take the 4th paper in the second position on the move when I could have taken it from the third position turning it into a transition.

Second stage of the match, total hoser. Not very happy with the reload. Weird start position with both hands touching shoulders.

2/14 Limited on this stage (16/140 overal for the match). First stage of the match for me. Was slow but solid. Little mental hiccup in second to last position where I search for the next target. Very technical stage positionally. Things disappear if you are not exactly on the right spot.

Fun short course from last weekend Linden Match. No room for errors on these little stages. 3 Charlie's on this one. I was 3/64 overall on this stage and 15/64 overall behind the dot guys for the match.

Richmond #USPSA Stage 5 - Jim Susoy - Limited A Class - April 1st, 2023,
Glad to be back at it! 6 Charlies on this stage. I could not see any of the poppers because the sun was in my eyes. I was shocked I hit the first two. This is the first match since I injured my that was not terrible.

Richmond #USPSA - Stage 4 - Jim Susoy - LImited A Class - April 1st, 2023
Stage 4 from the April 1st, 2023 match at Richmond. I designed this stage and did not succumb to the stage builders curse! It had a 23yrd mini-popper and a 22yrd paper on the left. I'm still a little trigger freezy after coming back from my injury.

Richmond #USPSA Stage 6- Jim Susoy - Limited A Class
Stage 6 from last weekend Richmond USPSA match. This was my first stage and I did not have time for a proper walk through. Lots went wrong on this stage. The downrange positions were a bit tricky and I was able to hit then all.
