Description
Scouring the woodlands and waterways of Kansas for artifacts & specimens from the wilds of Kansas and beyond. Hundreds of miles walked. Rivers, creeks, overgrown woodlands, vast prairies, abandoned homesteads, razed towns and unknown Native American sites, these are the places you can hold the past. From 300 million years to less than a century, the stories litter the ground beneath us. From The Kaw offers everyone a chance to hold history in their hands. Sometimes in it's most organic form and others in a fun or intriguing form of display. Each piece is one of a kind and was a part of a continuing adventure. Whether that started on a sea bed that has long gone dry, riding a glacier for a millennium from lands far away or discarded by man in the wilds of the prairie. The adventure for these things is far from over.
