What can we learn from a sorcerer about repentance?
One day each of us will stand before the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:10-11). Are you “good enough?” to enter His Kingdom with an abundant entrance (2 Peter 1:10-11), or will you be ashamed? (1 John 2:28). It’s within this context that we explore the “salvation” of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8:4-25. Let us take time now while we have the opportunity to examine ourselves and receive His abundant life now and eternal! John 1:12-13; John 3:5; John 10:10; John 14:6; Romans 3:23; 2 Cor. 7:10 & 13:5; 2 Timothy 3:13; Proverbs 14:12.

That's just the way God made me....
There is nothing about the way God created us that is not magnificent or complete. If we consider ourselves as lacking in any way, we must determine what false beliefs lie behind this perspective. God did not create any average people; however, a fallen world does try to convince us we are nothing special. It is our deepest desire to equip you with the truth so that your faith can be strengthened in the face of dark days. We are overcomers! Does a follower of Christ still have a "sin nature"?
Many professing believers use Paul’s verses in Romans 7:13-25 to justify that we must continue to “wrestle with sin” but fail to read these verses in context and don’t make the connection that Paul was describing his inability to overcome sin when he was still unredeemed and “under the law”. The glorious truth of the gospel (good news!) is that Jesus Christ completely freed us from the “law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2). In Christ, we are completely new and free from our old life of sin (2 Cor. 5:17-21). We now have a choice - to either gratify the flesh, or live in accordance with the Spirit in the resurrection life of Jesus Christ. The old man and his “sin nature” has been nailed to the tree with Christ. Hallelujah! Romans 6:5-7; 8:2; 9:31; Colossians 1:13; John 8:32; Galatians 2:20; 3:13-14; Galatians 5:16-25

The secret place of rest in Jesus.
In Psalm 91, we read powerful promises that are ours when we dwell in the secret place of the Most High. So what does this look like for the follower of Christ? Intimacy with the Godhead through the sacrifice of Christ is available to all who have put their faith and trust in Him. Intimacy is experiential and yet is not limited to your “feelings” or emotions. Rather, it is a deepening of your personal understanding of your heavenly Father, friend, and comforter. When you take time to be still & remain in His presence, with the intention to listen, He will fill your soul with revelation, refreshing, joy and peace. Ps 55:22; John 4:23-24; John 10:28; 1 John 4:1-6; Ps 25:14; Col. 2:3.

It's not good for man to be alone.
Women play an extremely powerful role in men's lives. This is evidenced by Genesis 2:18 which is a huge statement on the part of God. The word "helper" does not mean women are servant doormats nor are we angry, hammer-carrying feminists. Instead, the Hebrew translation says the word for helper is Ezer (A-zer) which means God's strength, power, protection, help & God is a rescuer. Therefore, without women living as Christ-inspired helpers in men's lives, men are essentially alone & unable to effectively carry out their purpose. We encourage you to listen to how we break down some of the misconceptions regarding the equal importance of men & women in the fulfillment of God's plans on the earth. Supercharge your prayer life!
Many of us know there is power in prayers of agreement; however, today we also look at the spiritual benefits of having a prayer partner & friend. Kingdom prayer buddies celebrate each other, provide encouragement & wisdom, & complement each other. This is different from a mentor/mentee relationship; instead, it is one where the prayer partners are “equally yoked”. The benefits of this special relationship could mean the difference between breakthrough or despair for us in hard times. Key, trusted friendships offer each other a safe space in which to grow, stumble, learn, test out scripture, & so much more. Learn to go to battle for each other so we don’t battle each other! We pray you seek your own prayer partner today! Proverbs 18:24; Proverbs 27:17, Galatians 6:2;

Vision is needed for the impossible.
The ability to see what God is doing is directly linked to how we see ourselves in Christ. As Habakkuk complains to God about the state of his nation & its people, God tells Habakkuk that he is not seeing all He is doing in the midst of all the bad choices humanity is making. We can ALL relate to how Habakkuk is feeling. We need vision to see what God is doing & what we are called to do in trying times. The righteous are saved by faith! Habakkuk 1,2, 2:2-3; Proverbs 29:18; Matthew 24:6; Philippians 4:13; Matthew 7:7-8; Genesis 28:10-22; John 10:10

Spiritual & Sexual Purity Kingdom Style!
It is impossible for most unmarried believers to abstain from sex or sexual thoughts under “a rule of law" in a world where they are inundated with sexual content + sexual behavior in the Church itself. The good news is that the law won't help us stay in a state of sexual purity. This is only possible through the Holy Spirit + an understanding of God’s pure love for us thru His word. This video contains mature content so guard little ears as we address this extremely important topic. Jesus is returning for a SPOTLESS Bride!

It is the simple gospel💓
The simplicity of the gospel is found in a deep & connected relationship with the person of Jesus Christ as expressed in scripture. It is through this simple, daily, & intentional relationship that we access all of the powerful and beautiful gifts Jesus suffered, died, & rose again to give to us. Our born again life begins in Christ and by growing in our understanding of His nature, we find who we were created to be. Who are you calling a worm?
Today’s topic goes right to the heart of our identity issue in the Body of Christ. We hope this episode will help you begin to reframe what you may believe about yourself, as a child of God. Children of God are not described as sinners, we are described as the righteousness of God. When our perspective is elevated, we begin to live from the top and not from the bottom, above and not beneath our station in life. Check out who Christ says you are - it’s GOOD news! Scripture references: 2 Corinthians 5:17&21; Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 1:15; 1 John 4:17; Hebrews 2:10; Romans 8:17; John 18

Resting in perfect love.
In today’s conversation, Sylvia & Karen talk about the distinction between the legalistic work of religion and experiencing the pure presence of God, the Creator of the Universe, in the creative moments of everyday life. Scripture references: Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3; 19:1; 1 John 4:17-18; and Jude 20-21.
It's all about the heart
In this episode, Sylvia and Karen discuss the motives of the heart and how to ensure that God's word falls on "good soil". "But that in the good ground, these are the ones who are of such a nature that in a noble and virtuous heart, having heard the word, are holding it fast and are bearing fruit in patience." Luke 8:15, Wuest translation.
