Start by finding a comfortable position that allows you to keep your spine straight, either sitting or lying down. Take a deep breath in and out, and let's begin our meditation practice.
Become aware of where you place your hands. If you are seated, you can rest them gently on your lap or place them palms down on your knees. If you are lying down, let them rest comfortably by your side.
Now, imagine a person you dearly love sitting in front of you and visualize a connection of energy from your heart to theirs. Feel the love and warmth flowing through this connection.
Repeat "May I be well, happy, and peaceful" and "May you be well, happy, and peaceful" for two minutes, feeling the warmth of loving-kindness.
Visualize the connection becoming a circle of light that surrounds you both, radiating warmth and peace to all beings. Repeat, "May we be well, happy, and peaceful. May all beings be well, happy, and peaceful" for two minutes.
Turn your attention to your body and notice your feelings and sensations. Breathe naturally and when you are ready, slowly open your eyes.

Direct your attention to your toes and gently scrunch them up, then release. Move up to your ankles and continue to relax your calf muscles, knees, and thighs. Keep your mind clear and allow any thoughts to drift away.
Release any tension in your buttocks and pelvic area and become aware of any tension in your back. Inhale deeply and exhale while letting go of any tension in your back.
Focus on your shoulders and lift them up as you inhale, then release completely as you exhale. Relax your neck and jaw muscles with another deep breath and release any tension in these areas. Finally, release any tension at the top of your head.
Take a few more deep breaths, enjoying the feeling of relaxation and calm. When you're ready, slowly bring your attention back to your surroundings, noticing the sounds around you. Take your time and gently open your eyes when you're ready. Take a moment to notice how you feel.

Welcome to this 5-minute meditation for beginners. This guided meditation is designed to help you relax, release tension, and connect with a sense of inner peace and calm.
To begin, find a comfortable seated position, either on a chair or on the floor. Take a deep breath and allow yourself to settle into the present moment. Notice your feet firmly planted on the ground and take a few more deep breaths, allowing yourself to relax and release any tension.
Now, let's focus on your toes. Gently scrunch them up, and then release. Move your attention up to your ankles, relaxing them, and continue to do so with your calf muscles, knees, and thighs. Remember to let any thoughts drift away like bubbles.
Next, release any tension in your buttocks and pelvic area, and become aware of any tension in your back. Breathe deeply in and as you exhale, allow any tension in your back to dissolve.
Now let's move to your shoulders. Take a deep breath and lift them up, then release them completely. Relax your neck and jaw muscles with another deep breath in and as you exhale, let go of any tension in these areas. Lastly, release any tension at the top of your head.
Take a few more deep breaths and enjoy the feeling of relaxation and calm. When you're ready, slowly bring your attention back to the room, noticing the sounds around you. Take your time and when you're ready, gently open your eyes.
Take a moment to notice how you feel. You may feel more relaxed, centered, and grounded. Remember to carry this feeling with you throughout your day, and know that you can always come back to this meditation whenever you need to.
