Today, I look at a video by Dr. Leighton Flowers, who is explaining 2 Timothy 2:1-10. In his video, Dr. Flowers interprets the “elect” mentioned in verse 10 as the Jews and assumes that the term means the Jews in other passages as well. Does his definition hold up to scrutiny? Does in comport with what the Bible says?

Looking at John 14:1-7, discover what Jesus said about our justification. The way Christian’s come to God is important. Often, without understanding the implications, Christian’s undermine the very means that save them. Listen to learn how to avoid making that mistake.

It is important that passages taken from an argument or thought be interpreted in light of what they meant in the argument or thought.
