Deer are great opportunists and some, especially those in parks or popular tourist spots, can quickly learn to overcome a natural fear of man in return for an easy mouthful or two. Regrettably, feeding deer and other wild animals can encourage an unhealthy dependency as well as having other potential consequences. Captive deer, even those in parks, are usually kept in numbers which their environment can support and if there is a need for any specialist supplementary feed this will be provided by their keepers. All deer, even those accustomed to humans, are essentially wild animals. There have been instances when deer have developed unnatural levels of assertiveness after learning to accept food from human hands. This has led to reports of aggressive behaviour and even deer physically bullying people for food.

Fog City is a cinematic study of Bay Area fog, created by filmmaker Sam Green in collaboration with cinematographer Andy Black. The work takes a poetic view of this complex natural phenomena that for many months each year defines the psychogeography of the region. Altogether, mountain climates are characterised by a rather distinctive combination of temperature, radiation, wind and rainfall patterns, as well as a larger variability of climate, both spatial and temporal (at scales from days to seasons) compared with lowlands at the same latitude.

This turtle is famous for its exceptional beauty. Its shell resembles the shapes of diamonds, which also gives it the iconic name – Diamondback terrapin. But don’t forget, beauty also comes from the inside!

For centuries it has been accepted that there have been two identified species of elephants living today African elephants, (Loxodonta Africana) and Asian elephants (Elephas Maximus). Zebras are one of the many beautiful creatures inhabiting eastern and southe­rn Africa. So we simply couldn’t resist writing these zebra facts. Zebras are herbivores, which means they eat plants, grasses, and roots. There are three different species of zebra that can be found in East and South Africa. The plains zebra, Grevy’s zebra, which is also known as the Imperial Zebra, and the mountain zebra.
